If you file using a temporary address you'll receive every notification there and must notify USCIS of any change which has proven risky as you can keep receiving mail at the old address. Where you marry is completely irrelevant for AOS except for what @Jorgedigalready mentioned: getting the license, scheduling the ceremony and obtaining the certificate which is the most important requirement for AOS.

Guarantor to apply for my first Canadian passport
Allaboutwaiting replied to CAKIK's topic in Canada
Is it your very first Canadian passport or the first time you get one from the US? -
1. Correct. 2. No, you won't apply for a replacement card. Once you file for removal of conditions you'll receive a notification letter that will also serve as an extension. Currently that letter extends the GC for 4 years after the expiration date - and as things are, by the time you file it might be a 10 year extension-. 😜

One under 18 (split)
Allaboutwaiting replied to Helen Quail's topic in US Citizenship General Discussion
The way you worded things implied you were divorced from your daughter's father. The important thing is that you are the parent with both legal and physical custody, so you should have no issue. Your daughter should acquire citizenship automatically. -

I assume you are divorced and were granted both legal and physical custody of your younger daughter? -
I 751 interview
Allaboutwaiting replied to Timmgiang1976's topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
The odd thing is not the interview per se but your current online status as "Interview cancelled" because in reality the interview took place. I would wait a week and call if the status does not change and also file an e-request and call if there's no move nor notification after April 7th. -
Yesterday I stumbled upon a YouTube video that compiled reactions and opinions of women regarding new terms such as breastfeeding person or birthing people - used instead of breastfeeding woman or pregnant woman-. After a quick search I found out it is not THAT new, but I was honestly clueless about it. Without this getting into the political realm, I would like to know what the women around the forum think of this particular linguistical shift.

A waiver for that rule is granted just if it is established that compliance would result in extreme hardship to the petitioner or would violate strict and long-established customs of the K-1 beneficiary’s foreign culture or social practice -as where marriages are traditionally arranged by the parents of the contracting parties and the prospective bride and groom are prohibited from meeting subsequent to the arrangement and prior to the wedding day-. So, unless your case meets any of these, your case would be denied. And if he is not divorced yet, he's not free to marry, so you CANNOT file until the divorce is final.

The CV or resume is a written summary of your education, work history and skills. You must send one every time you apply for a new job - so you should have one already-. There are plenty of samples and templates online if you need help writing yours.

I-751 December 2021 Filers
Allaboutwaiting replied to Violax's topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
When was the last update for your current online status? Ours changed from "waiting for interview" to "fingerprints were taken" in October 18 last year and I recently read her in the forum that it was just a glitch. 😑 -
We have not traveled with any of those airlines but you shouldn't have a single issue. They're old big airlines that must be familiar with this kind of document. We traveled with a brand new airline a few months ago and the lady at the counter was knowledgeable and the process was amazingly quick- and we always arrive way earlier than we should just in case there is some sort of problem-. As a side note, we have already traveled with the 18 month and 24 month extension; can't wait to travel with our brand new 48 month one! 😆
