  1. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/wait-times.html
  2. If you have your NVC case number, you don't need to wait for the letter.
  3. We've always used USPS with tracking and signature. It is cheaper and we've had no issues so far with delivery.
  4. If you are already planning on adjusting status, it is immigration fraud.
  5. Hahaha, good timing! So include the baby's birth certificate. And exactly what you typed now could be in the letter. Also you can send the bills each pays from those individual accounts. Guess you already sent tax returns, health insurance, mortgage or lease, car insurance, life insurance with each other as beneficiary, etc.
  6. If you cannot provide evidence beyond what you already sent, respond with a letter explaining why.
  7. It is normal if they feel you did not send enough evidence or there is something missing. What does it say exactly?
  8. Funny, because I would do: original, translation, declaration and stamped copy. Or original in one file and all the translation documents in another. Truth is that it does not really matter.
  9. So glad you were able to fly back to the US. 😊 One question: What did the airline ask for to let you board the plane?
  10. When I saw I had a response thought it would be an explanation on why instagram is not working on my browser. #disappointed 🤣
  11. Can't you reschedule your tourist visa appointment for a later date?
  12. Read the I-129f instructions. i-129finstr.pdf
  13. According to the IRS site, they should be available to download from their site between 2 and 4 weeks. So, you have enough time. More information here: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/transcript-availability
  14. WHAT?!!! Dude, is that a joke? The idea of every single post is to calm you down so you feel free to travel. I'm baffled mate.
  15. Absolutely stick to the dates you scheduled already. The documents you need to get ready are (based on what I can remember) : petitioner's proof of US citizenship, filled and signed I-134 and supporting evidence, police certificates from the countries you've lived for more than a year since turning 16 and not sure how many passport sized photographs. And also bring evidence of ongoing relationship- they might not even see it but bring it-. Hopefully the member I tagged can share exactly what she needed for the visa interview in Amsterdam.
  16. Ah! He meant a list of HIS specific ones? Didn't read it like that. So, I want to change my answer: now it is NO. 🤣
  17. Yeah, they should. But you can apply for them now, as they are valid for 12 months if from your own country and have no expiration date if they are from a country you resided in.
  18. The requirement is if you lived there more than 12 months.
  19. Did not find the info I mentioned but I'm tagging a member that interviewed in Amsterdam for the K1. Hi @brii, could you help the OP with the specifics on the K1 process in Amsterdam?
  20. It does not matter if you received the invitation letter - some applicants never receive it-. You were able to start the process because NVC generated a case number and sent the file to the Embassy/ Consulate. We have no experience with the Embassy in Amsterdam, but all K1's are the same - except for what I mentioned before: some embassies require documents to be sent prior interview while others ask the applicant to bring them to the interview-. There used to be a member that gathered the letters for every Embassy. If I can find the Amsterdam one, I'll post the link here.
  21. So far you've done everything right. Just check if your embassy requires you to send the necessary documents - such as the I-134- or you can bring those to the interview.
  22. Welcome! Your case seems easy-peasy! The forum's guide for IR1 is here:
