I’m really confused, forgive me if this has been asked, but I tried the search function, NVC guide, google search...
question is, I submitted all required documents on CEAC last week, decided to login tonight and check it and I got this
ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
And it says now to email or mail all the documents I already uploaded onto the site! I was under the impression it was all done through the CEAC portal now and we wait...
Can anyone explain what this email means and if I need to submit all the uploaded documentation for a second time via email or mail?

A bit confused on the police certificate requirements...
My wife is from Portugal resided there until her early 20s, then she lived in the UAE for several years, and now has lived in London for three years.
I’m trying to follow the matrix on the state department website for police certificates required but find it difficult to read.
It seems to say she doesn’t need a “new” certificate for the UAE and one more than a year old will suffice as long as she didn’t return there since it last issuance.
she has “returned” to the UAE but as a crew member for an airline. It seems the implication on the state department was returned as a resident? Otherwise, she would need a police certificate for literal every country she’s ever flown to which would be crazy.
Clearly we need a police certificate for the UK, but a current one for Portugal (Where she visits frequently to see family) and the UAE are confusing me.

This might be a dumb question, but I received the I-797 in the mail approving our I-130.
It says in the print “the above petition has been approved. As the petitioner requests, we have sent the petition to the US department of state national visa center.”
Did they REALLY send it already? I thought they are usually taking a few weeks before sending it over....not sure if all NOA2s say this, or if I’m just getting overexcited.

Thank you, great advice.

After NOA2, how long is Nebraska currently taking to send to NVC?
Do I sit back and wait now for NVC to send me an email or can I be proactive and call them?

I was getting worried to be honest, I was starting to think that maybe it just wouldn’t do anything to our case after watching so many people with the same and later PD than us get approved, 50 days felt so long but I’m just glad it finally worked, but it’s so awful that it’s so necessary to send to Nebraska just to get them to not take 13 months in your case
Next is NVC!!! Get the I864 prepared, police reports for your spouse from any country they’ve lived for more than 6 months since age 16, spouses birth certificate ready, have your spouse prepare for the DS260, and anything else required!! Once you get your case number I would say submit all the fees and documents the same day if you can, to get case complete quicker!
Awesome, thanks so much for detailing that.

Just received notification from the lawyer office that our I130 was approved (NOA2).
Filed in December 2018 and filed a 129F in early August. 129f was denied on Monday and approval came Friday for the I130.
Thanks to everyone who recommended the I129F loophole. It definitely works!
Now, what’s my next step?! 😬

I-130
NOA1 12/14/18 NSC
Filed I-129f on 08/12/19
DENIED I-129f on 09/16/19 (today)
I just received notice via Case Tracker this afternoon. I suppose this is "good" news? Best of luck to those still waiting to hear. My wife is Portuguese living in the UK for anyone curious.

Awesome, much appreciated.
One more question: I had an attorney file my I-130 so she had submitted a G-28 form. Do I need her to fill one of these out for the I-129f as well, or is it not relevant since she's not involved in the I-129f filing which I am doing independently. A bit confused...

Hi Everyone,
I'm filing out the I-129f now for my wife and its asking "Consular Processing Information."
She lives in the UK, she's a Portuguese Citizen, and she is able to travel to the United States on her B1/B2 visa. Which consular processing would I select? UK or Portugal?

Well it’s official, Cuccinelli was tapped for the USCIS position.
I’m planning to do the most adult thing; congratulate him on the new position and then remind him that this role is not meant to be politicized to punish those who are legally trying to immigrate to the US.
I’ve thus far sent snail mail and email to my congressman and senator regarding the Nebraska slowdown. I think respectful commentary on Cuccinelli’s twitter perhaps (could) be an effective strategy to continue the awareness of processing times.
Good luck to all and thank you for always giving me hope!

A bit late to the party, but filed I-130 for my wife 12/14/18 and received notice 12/19/18 through Nebraska office.
Nebraska is saying 7.5-10 months, but NOA2 is anecdotally taking roughly 4-6 months?
Case Complete to Interview April 2020
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
My wife received her invitation to interview on 3/23/20 at the US embassy in London for her spousal visa.
it says “as of March 17th the US embassy in London is cancelling routine no immigrant visas and reducing immigrant visa appointments.”
However on the State Department site it says “all routine immigrant and non immigrant visa appointments cancelled.” 3/20/20
Conflicting information and the embassy in London is not picking up the phone, and our interview was scheduled AFTER these notices were issued!
