    From what I heard they often have voter registration tables at the oath ceremony. So no need for the SSN to be updated apparently.

    I think you can register up until 15 days before. Nah I don't see the need for a lawyer if it's a straightforward case. I'm anxiously waiting for the biometrics notice. Not even two weeks and it's already taking way too long for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    If you're divorced you can only file under the 5 year rule. I guess you updated USCIS about your divorce? It's rare to get the 10 year card without interview after a divorce. Lucky you 🙂

    Germany just this year passed a law that allows dual citizenship ( before that you had to ask for an exemption). The law was made public on March 26th with a clause that it won't go into effect until 3 months later.

    Op had a combo interview for ROC and naturalization. They won't send you a 10 year card if they expect you to swear the oath.

    In case they do return it you could fight it and send it back in with a letter explaini g and a copy of your receipt and the picture with the date circled.

    Yes I skipped. It's a one form fits all. They're getting better with the online form, but it's not perfect yet.

    Nah, not under normal circumstances. All my applications have been well within the official processing times. Only the PCS overseas gets you on the fast track 😁
