  1. Just got the update of ROC approval. This comes as no surprise since I had my naturalization interview on Tuesday and the IO requested my file to approve it before I can take my oath. It wasn't a combo interview. Just N400 and the IO said if the ROC looks as good as the N400 she'll approve it.
  2. Hatte gestern mein naturalization interview. Alles gut gegangen und ich warte jetzt auf den oath Termin. Nie wieder USCIS 🥳🥳🥳
  3. Passed the thing. No oath today tho cause they didn't have my ROC file. The ROC status just changed to case transferred. She said if the ROC file looks as good as the N400 she doesn't see any problems and will approve everything as soon as she has the file. I'm just glad the test is done 🥳
  4. Nothing since the receipt notice? No biometrics or anything since then? Did you check what the processing times for Dallas are? Unless you're outside of their processing times there's unfortunately not much you can do.
  5. Mine just did that. I have my interview tomorrow and I guess somebody looked at my file to hopefully prepare themselves.
  6. Interview date is coming close. Tuesday is gonna be the day. No update on ROC. Would have hoped that I'll get an approval in the days leading up to the interview or at least a notice that the case was transferred to the LFO. I did my duty by uploading the combo interview request so we'll see I guess.
  7. It took about six weeks for me till I got the biometrics reuse notice. It showed up in the documents tab and then also came in the mail. There was no status update but I received an email that something happened.
  8. Just to update. It took a bit over six weeks to get a notice and my biometrics were reused.
  9. Luckily not 🤣 It's just odd that for the most part it's very clear and specified and suddenly these oddballs without instructions. I'm left unsupervised 😭😅
  10. For that question they actually say how many they want to hear, but there are some oddballs where it's not specified. Leave it to USCIS to keep it interesting till the last minute 🙄😅 But I'll go with one answer like you said and just hope for the best 🙂
  11. Question for everyone who already had their interview or everyone who happens to know. I'm learning for the civics test and some questions have like 3 different answers ( question 2, what does the constitution do? ), but the question doesn't say 'name one or two'. Do I need to know all answers or still just one of them even tho the answers are different?
  12. Definitely 5 year rule since you will only need the basics and none of the marriage evidence. You can call the irs hotline and order transcripts.
  13. There are a bunch of Google reviews that say so and I found it on pages from local immigration lawyers. Might not be up to date I'll admit.
  16. At least you now have something to go of. Our office is not the most used here on VJ 😅
  17. Fingers crossed you'll hear something in the next couple days 🤞
  18. Interview scheduled for August 27, and apparently, my office does same day oaths 🥳🥳🥳
  19. I'm at the Vermont office. It's at 26 months processing times right now.
  20. My prediction is back to November. So much for any day now 😅
  21. My VJ prediction just came in saying approval could be any day now. Which would be a year early since Vermont still shows 29 months, but hey, I'd take it. I did file for naturalization in April but haven't heard anything besides the 'actively reviewing' status mid May. It will happen when it happens I guess 🙂
  22. So excited to see all the scheduled interviews, passed interviews and oaths taken or soon to come 🎉🎉🎉
  23. Congratulations ❤️ and since you didn't wanted a same day anyways it fits perfectly 👌
  24. The embassy has your address from the K1 petition. They'll send it to you without you having to do anything. And as far as the original post that was quoted goes. The OP back then had picked immigrant visa instead of K- visa applicant
