  1. I had the interview last Thursday and scheduled for oath on Nov 20th today.
  2. No I only bring my passport, driver's license and my green card. That was all that was asked of me. That said, I applied following the 5 years rule and have my account and tax transcript uploaded online
  3. Just a quick update for those with Chicago as their field office. I had my interview today and my status changed to oath ceremony will be scheduled within 3 hours. I have a great experience at the Chicago field office. Everyone was super nice and friendly, especially their security. I went from super nervous to just relaxed by the time I went to the waiting area. The wait wasn't long. I had my appointment at 1.15pm and I was called in at 1.20pm. Those of you that intends to change your name needs to practice your new signature. They'll need you to sign on the horrible touch pad that barely worked for your Naturalization certificate. I was caught off guard with that the proceed to struggle with the stylus for close to 5 mins. I think that's the most difficult part of my whole interview.
  4. I did get an email that an action have been taken on my case. And I log in and saw the Interview letter on the documents tab.
  5. Just got my interview scheduled for Oct 31st. Field office: Chicago Applied under the 5 years rule.
  6. Congrats! I also filed under the 5 years rule, hopefully I'll get updates soon although I doubt mine will be fast since my field office is in chicago.
  7. I filed a day after you. Still waiting for any updates. Hopefully it goes fast. I also just moved to Chicago so unsure if Chicago will take longer than my previous fo.
  8. Hopefully it'll be soon for us too. I'm traveling out of country in mid Sept to end Sept so it'll work out just right.
  9. That's good to know. I'm in Peoria so I'm sort of somewhere in the middle. I'm just glad to know I don't have to travel to Missouri for oath since I travel a lot to Chicago for work.
  10. Is it same day oath or a different day? Did you live in Missouri? Glad to hear the short processing time. I'm excited to finally be done with USCIS
  11. Gonna be following your journey. I filed today under the 5 year rule too with the same field office. Are you on the Illinois side or Missouri?
  12. Same I'm also on the illinois side although I just filed my n400. So I have a long way to go
  13. I'm joining this thread as fellow July applicant. N400 (5 years rule) Submitted: 07/24/2024
  14. I just got my 10yr GC. I filed with a divorce waivers too. Filed it around Sept 2021, received it last month (Aug 2023). No interviews, no rfe and they reuse my biometrics since I haven't left the country.
  15. From my prior meeting with my attorney I will be filing for N400 next year if my I751 is still pending (I also apply my I751 with a divorce waiver). I believe from my convo with my lawyer, i needed 5 years from I first get my conditional green card before i can file N400. I will still be applying next year for my N400 but this time with my 10 yrs GC in hand. There's a big chance you'll get your 10yrs GC soon. Mine is in Nebraska Center (LIN) and they approved mine without an interview (approx. 23mo). Good luck in your journey.
  16. After 23 months of wait, finally getting my green card. No interview. I'll be starting N400 application end of next year but at least having a physical card in hand makes the N400 wait tolerable.
  17. At this point, I'm giving up ever seeing a 10yr GC. I filed with a divorce waiver and Sept next year I would be able to file my N400 since it'll be 4 yrs and 9 mo since I first received my conditional GC. I had an attorney for the case and was advised to just wait and apply for N400 when time comes.
