Janet's sister used to work for me at a large printing company in Wisconsin. One day we were talking and the subject of her family came up. I told me a little about Janet and brought in her photo. I was immediately struck by her beauty and asked for her address so we could write. We did this for about a year before I actually took the plunge and went there to meet her. She was even more beautiful and gracious in person than I had imagined. We decided there to get married and began the torturous K-1 process. Though, I have to admit, it's been pretty smooth compared to some of the stories I've read here. We eventually got approved and she came here to the US May 4th, 2007. We were married May 26th and life has been wonderful ever since. We've moved from Wisconsin to Tennessee and have found many friends who are also Fil-Am couples.
