  1. The online app for N-400 states "Include your current marriage, any marriages before or during your current marriage, marriages in the United States, marriages in other countries, annulled marriages, civil marriages, customary or religious marriages, marriages to other people, and marriages to the same person, whether or not the marriage was registered with a government. If you were married to the same person more than one time, count each time as a separate marriage."
  2. Hello. I will be assisting my wife with filing her N-400. She has her 10-year GC via K1 visa. We got married in a civil wedding here in NY. We recently came back from the Philippines where we married again in a Church wedding. Should her answer be "2" times married for the N-400? We also don't have any official "proof" of our church wedding besides photos, vendor receipts and receipts from the church. Will that suffice?
  3. Her notice date on AOS Notice of Action is 12/21/2020.
  4. She entered on a K1 visa but we adjusted her status while she was here in the U.S. Why does the conditional GC and 10-year GC show 2 different dates?
  5. Hello all, I am assisting my wife with her N-400. The form is asking for the date of when she became a lawful permanent resident. Her 2-year GC shows "Resident since 12/21/20" and it has a a Category of CF1. Her 10-year GC shows "Resident since 12/20/21" and it has a Category of IF1. Which date would be accurate to list on the N-400? Thank you.
  6. Thanks for your reply. Our permanent address hasn't changed. She went with our daughter in advance and I arrived on January 3rd and all 3 of us returned together to the US. I wasn't aware that I had the choice to apply for 3 or 5 year or does USCIS make the 3/5 year eligibility determination?
  7. Hello all, My wife traveled to her home country, Philippines, for 2 months from 11/29/2024 - 1/27/2025. We are planning to file her N-400 but does her trip violate the 3-month residency requirement (NY)? Thank you.
  8. Everything was fine and the check was eventually deposited. It was 2 years ago but I can say that we received our greencard last month so it was about a 2 year wait with no interview.
  9. Hi all, I am from New York. I sent my I-751 package with UPS to: USCIS Attn: I-751 (Box 4072) 2500 Westfield Drive Elgin, IL 60124-7836 I did not address it to USCIS Elgin Lockbox, only USCIS. I just now noticed my error when giving UPS the address. I received a UPS delivery notifcation today that states in the Proof of Delivery that it was "Received by Mohamed" and it was "Left At Front Desk". Did my I-751 arrive successfully at the correct place? I'm unsure if Lockbox means the courier will just drop it off without a signature confirmation. I won't know till the check is deposited or if it's left languishing in the incorrect place? Thank you all.
