I am losing my mind
So, I applied for a passport, I specifically went to a courthouse/recorder because I have heard stories about documents being lost, but alas, it happened to me. I applied around 5-ish weeks ago, and I called the passport hotline, etc.
Anyway, I changed my name during naturalization. I got the Naturalization certificate as well as the name change petition (form 662). I am trying to get the original/certified copy of Form N-662 since my school, bank, etc needs it in order for me to change my name. I took the oath in Fargo, ND. I called the Deputy Clerk's office (one who signed the Form N-662). They basically told me to call the Minnesota court because apparently North Dakota does not handle this. She gave me a number and I called the MN Immigration office. I talked to someone and they said they don't have a "Form N-662". He asked for me A-number, and I gave it to him. He said, I'm not on their list/my case isn't. I called USCIS hotline, but it's an endless loop of a robot asking me to just text/email my case status. I don't know what to do anymore
EDIT: kinda sucks to find out that replacement Naturalization certificate copy costs $500 😭
