  1. Same. I kinda want one now given that WAC keeps increasing processing time every 6 weeks.
  2. Ugh each time hope just slips away. I wonder if they'll keep increasing it every six weeks.
  3. Who knows. I actually think my case is very straightforward. I already had my interview for the first green card, my husband and I have a toddler boy together, I've been working at a stable well-paid job for over 2 years now, we co-rent, co-loan, co-own quite a few things etc. I'm sure some other people among those whose cases are untouched also have very well-equipped cases. I do need a citizenship since traveling and seeing my family is getting more difficult for my Russian passport these days, that's why I'll file N-400 in March if I don't hear anything on I-751 by then. I hope your case gets approved before April!
  4. I know it sucks. They seem to be processing 21000+ and 21500+ very slowly these days. There's just one approved case in lower range and four in the upper range today. But given that they barely touched any cases in these ranges before it looks very depressing. As much as I hate the idea of filing N-400 while being so close, I might do it if my case stays untouched this month. It's taking ridiculously long now, and yeah their blessing is super randomized. Could just as well sit there for another 3 months.
  5. We’re in the same boat. My case is in 21500-22000 range, and there’re just a few that were looked at. Same as in 21000-21500 range. Given that they’ve started approving 22000+ more actively we could be stuck for a while. I really hate it.
  6. I thought I was good at procrastination but I guess I’ll never be THAT good. USCIS is true inspiration.
  7. I hope it will come soon! Sometimes I think I should have filed for N-400 like you did right away. I know it's a gamble but seeing how slowly and randomly cases get approved is a sweet torture
  8. WAC. There were surprisingly a lot of RFEs and approvals in 20500-21000 range yesterday. Hoping for more movement in 21500 and up soon!
  9. You aren't alone. I saw only 1 or two RFEs yesterday in that range, and so far just one case transfer today. I agree that it's getting ridiculous. I probably should have filed N-400 back in November.
  10. I think they've started ok but then their approvals got very patchy. Even now despite that they're looking into 21xxx cases, they're many among earlier filers that weren't even looked at. If I was among 19-20xxx I would be even more frustrated now But oh well. Bonne chance to us all. So painfully close!
  11. Sometimes I try to persuade myself that time runs slow because of the holidays but they've been reeeeeaaally slow with November cases. If they continue at this pace my case will probably be looked at next month if I'm lucky (215xx+ batch). I'm just ranting, of course, but it's starting to get even more annoying))
  12. Most of us are here for a citizenship. Like, as a WAC filer I would have already happily filed my N-400 about a month ago if I knew there's nothing to look forward to for another 6 to 12 months. The only reason I'm postponing is because there's this maybe-lucky-event (carrot tease) when I could get my green card before filing within the next two months which would MAYBE make things a little easier with N-400. But just like in any other field office there're maybes everywhere. I could have filed my N400 and gotten my interview at local office in 3 months, got approved for both I-751 and N-400 right away and happily sailed into sunset. Or I could have gotten an officer who'd mess things up for me or WAC could have lost my I-751 case, or I could be waiting for another 6 months when my case is approved because WAC keeps increasing processing times. What's the point of being mean to each other if we're in the same boat full of maybes?
  13. Congratulations! You're giving me hope My NOA1 is 11/24/21. Is your case number before or after 21499?
  14. WAC is taking longer these days. I filed in Nov 2021, and fingerprint update only came in April 2022. Hopefully, you don't have to wait that long but it can take months unfortunately.
  15. Wohoo! Congratulations! Hopefully, they'll start looking into 21000 cases, too.
  16. Oh yeah, when I think of that other possible ocean of misery (sorry not sorry) with not getting lucky to have an officer who can approve I-751 at an N-400 interview, waiting for another 2 months doesn't seem so bad anymore Thank you for reminding me of that!
  17. @OldUser @Moe428 I guess I'm just getting impatient and am super ready to get it over with once and for all. I do agree that it makes sense to wait till Christmas. I just can't help but think if my case were to take till the end of January to be processed, for example, my citizenship application could have been 2 months in waiting for the interview notice already.
