  1. With how slow ROC is I could be filing N 400 before it arrives. . Thank you for the info.
  2. Good luck when you do file! It will be nice to have it all done!
  3. My adult daughter has thought about moving here but nothing is definite. I do have my Canadian passport. Hopefully it's not as slow as the ROC. Almost 2 full years and waiting.
  4. Thank you for your help. Yes I do meet all that criteria! Do you know if it takes as long for citizenship as ROC? I'm betting longer.
  5. Ok thank you. So I can apply in 2025, 90 days before my original permanent resident card Date of Nov 17, 2020? Thank you
  6. Yes i got it in Nov 2020. I knew if you were married you could apply at the 3 years but I wasn't sure if his passing would affect when i could apply. Thank you for your response.
  7. Good afternoon, I applied for ROC in 2022 with waiver after losing my US spouse in 2021. I have since remarried and am wondering about filing for Citizenship. I have been in the USA Now for 5 years. Was married in July of 2019, lost my spouse to covid in Sept of 2021. Is it ok to apply while ROC is still pending. . Any tips are greatly appreciated. I am working full time, make more than the amount required and add my husbands info i am well over the threshold. Thank you in advance.
  8. Yes I filed 2 years ago with a waiver my spouse passed in 2021 so I filed once I received death certs, letter of testimentary etc and still nothing. I have been here 5 years now and remarried 10 months ago. It is a long slow process for sure
  9. I have gotten married and was wondering if I need to change my name with USCIS prior to the ROC. I filed for ROC July 2022 after my late husband passed . I know to change my address. Thanks in advance
  10. Thank you. LPR is that Legal Permanent Resident? I am not familiar with the short forms..i appreciate your help.
  11. Good evening, my US spouse passed in 2021. I filed for ROC in 2022 with waivers because he is deceased. I waited to file to get court documents and will taken care of from probate court to provide as much as i could with my application. Just recieved the 48 month extension letter today. My question is can i get remarried before ROC. I have met a fellow widower and we have discussed marriage. He is aware that I am in the immigration process. I am fully employed, own my own home etc so fully support myself. Thanks in advance.
