I have said it here before and well say it again. EV's are not the future. Big automakers are pulling back from them in major ways, the word on the streets is that all the big automakers are stopping making them.. Toyota makes a BZR4X and I think we only got one last year. It's a #######, excuse my French and the guy that bought it came back so much we got to know him on a 1st name basis.
The future is hybrids and Hydrogen. I am retired but still help a few hustlers (guys that make 150K+ a year and are limited in test taking abilities ) with their tests. The Camry will be 100% hybrid in 2025. There are 2 kind of hybrids. One for gas mileage ie. The Camry, Corolla, RAV4, Sienna. The other is for Torque and Power I.e the Tundra, Sequoia etc.. The boys tell me the Tacoma is out for 24 in Hybrid and Turbo
but I don't know much about it
I spent 30+ years managing production operations and the last 9 selling cars. The car business is like no other, it's a bizarre business. I should write a book. (with a good proof reader)
Now Hybrid hydrogen cell fuel cell cars are what Toyota hopes to push into the future. The Toyota Mirai, which is only available in communist infested areas of the USA. Toyota hopes to build a Hydrogen filling network. I honestly I forget exactly where it is available and I am too lazy to google it, but its some areas of the left coast.
The cool thing about Hydrogen is no prolonged battery fires. Just a great big bang and its over. LOL
