  1. Hey yall! Today I had an interview in Houston and I passed. It was not just easy but super easy! Everyone was friendly and now I will wait for my ceremony date. I asked it to be before July 20st as we are leaving U.S on my husband orders.
  2. Thank you! I passed. It was very easy. No definitions asked, 6 civic questions. Easy peasy )
  3. Thank you very much. My interview is tomorrow and the only thing i am concerned is definitions of words ) I hope they wont ask anything
  4. Who already passed interview, could you please tell me if they asked you definitions of the words when they ask you questions yes/no ?
  5. Yeah because i was expecting sms on my phone and also i don't have notifications about my emails. I just go and check them randomly;)
  6. I got email about the action was taken and then I refreshed my app where I tracked my case number and saw that Interview was scheduled. But when they reused my biometrics i got message on the phone about that. and now, nothing.
  7. How long you had to wait for expedite passport? I am not sure if i am able to get one .. Most probably will order it at embassy once abroad.
  8. If I pass interview I will ask them of what we can do and if i can get it before our departure. Finger crossed!
  9. I know.. I am in Houston so will go to Houston office.. But this N400 journey is in general way quicker then Fiance or Wifey VISA... I just cant wait to finish my ''friendship'' with UCSIS )) It was enough of it in my life))
  10. Hello yall! I live in Houston and my interview is scheduled at the end of June which is cool but I have a question.. If I pass, when usually oath ceremony is taken place? Because we are moving out of U.S in July on military orders and I am afraid that the oath will be scheduled already after the move. (However, they will be aware that we are moving as all information was provided in N-400) Can the oath be taken on the same day ? Or in Houston its always scheduled in few weeks after the interview?
  11. Hey Yall!!!!! Today I did a routine check in my UCSIS account and OOOOPS , my interview was scheduled!! On 27th of June! (which is my birthday too hehe) I am shocked how wast it was.. not even a month of waiting! So, guys, they are working on April applications so I am sure you will get notifications soon!!!!
  12. You were right! they sent me an email saying that they will not expedite it. So no i just hope for the interview date before I fly away.
  13. I applied under 319(b) , but I am about to move overseas on mu husband orders in July. The process for us is the same as for everyone. I would think all offices should be familiar with 319b. I heard that DC has same day everything. However, i highly doubt you can get passport straight away. You can apply for it right away but there will be waiting time. I hope they can send it to the embassy overseas anyways.
  14. Today got Biometrics reused notice too.. Wish they gave back money which they took for his biometrics) but no.
  15. Did you do expedite case? Did they reuse your biometrics?
  16. As long as they took all fingerprints then it should be fine.
  17. Hello yall! I have applied for N400 and after called military lined and asked for expedite procedure under Chapter 319(b). As I have never requested expedite case i have question: 1.They told me that I will be getting a call from T2 in next 7 days. What T2 agent will tell me? Will they tell me if my case is approved or not? 2. How long expedite cases for N400 approx. take? We will be leaving U.S in July and I am not sure if i can get an interview date before that.
  18. Hey yall! Jumping in the April N400 line! Submitted my form today and asked for expedite as I am using Chapter 319b as my husband got government related job outside U.S and i am on his orders. I did biometrics last year in Autumn and thought that they will reuse it but unfortunately did not get a straight notice after submition that they will do it . Good luck to everyone!
  19. Hello! i am about to fill in N400 under same section. Could you please tell me if you expedite this case and how long did it take from moment you applied and till interview date ?
  20. Thank you! At the moment i am also looking for applying for citizenship as I understand that I might be eligible for it.
  21. Hey. Could you please update if you entered U.S without or with problems? I am on same situation and i do not have a clear understanding if i need re entry permit.
  22. Hey! I will be in similar situation as my husband (civilian working for government) leaves on orders this summer BUT I should be on order as well. At the moment i am not sure if i need to apply for re entry permit since if i am on the orders so time limit should not apply to me.. i called UCSIS but they were useless. I have my 10 years GC . as far as i understand the no time limit tules is only if you are on his orders.. but since your GC is not expired i think you should be fine entering U.S (thats what i read from people stories )
  23. Thank you for reply. Yes, i was thinking about it already but could not figure out if this applied only for active duty because my husband is retired and works as civilian now. But i thought to try this path once we move out.
  24. Hello all, So I got my 10 years GC as a result of spouse VISA and now my husband who is civilian and work for U.S government got an official order to work and move abroad. His initial contract is for 2 years with possibility for extension. I thought that i had to apply for re-entry permit but then I found an USCIS article saying that : The time limitation does not apply to the spouse or child of a member of the Armed Forces of the United States, or of a civilian employee of the U.S. Government stationed abroad pursuant to official orders. In this case, the spouse or child must present the card mentioned above, not have relinquished residence, and be preceding or accompanying the member or employee, or be following to join the member or employee in the United States within four months of the return of the member or employee. After reading this I am a bit confused whether I need to apply for re-entry at all since I will have his official government orders and use them as proof when come back. I will try and call USCIS today but i guess they will just read the same information from website to me. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! P.S: we are leaving in June and even if I apply for re-entry now , from what i see it would not be issued to me before I leave. However, reading similar questions I understand that i just need to be present for biometrics in U.S?
