  1. Hello Need some advice for my brother's file. In our case My mom filled for my brother on F2B visa. and we are also thinking to file F2B on my father for my brother. 1. In future if my father become citizen then one file will remain F2B and one file will be F1? 2. Right now priority date is April 2023, when it will convert from F2B to F1 then it will be same priority date? or convert date will be consider as PD? 3. I-130 approval and next step (welcome letter from NVC) will sent to my parents or my brother's address? 4. after I-130 approve and his Priority date become current in filling table then what will be next step who are out of us?
  2. When I applied I-130, My son was in Canada but now he moved back to India. In this can Do I need to inform USCIS about his address change?
  3. So first step will be file I-130 and what will be next step?
  4. Hello Everyone I am new in this journey. To file for unmarried son over 21 what are the steps? He stays outside of US. we are from India , so how long waiting time is? Is it any way to expedite process? Please guide me for my journey.
  5. Thank you so much all for all feedback. So situation is 2022 March , someone called police and told them my brother was walking near railway , so they admitted him in hospital. And when doctor check him, they find out he is struggling with depression issue. So they gave him 3 weeks treatment in metal illness department and told him to continue his medication. December 2022 he visited us in US, he was totally fine. and somehow he also thought he is totally fine and no need to take medication. So he didn't took medication from End of December to Feb 2023. So again on Feb 14 2023, he was arguing and told threatening things 2 times to different people. So Police took him and admitted him to hospital. And he was in hospital for 3 weeks again. and his college told him that he is restricted till further notice. Few days ago we asked in his school about restriction, and from school they told that they are not decided yet but they are taking this seriously so plan accordingly. So we are assuming he will not allowed in school. So I am under impression , he was not arrested, police didn't took his signature or anything. I think police who help to patients, those police took him to the hospital. He was not arrested. We filled his I-130 on my mother in May 2023. Priority date on i-130 is may 6, 2023. so when in attached table F2B India visa will be May 6, 2023 at that time we need to process further, right? At that time we just need to file i864 and they will invite us for ds160 right? anything else we need to do?
  6. Thank you so much for all detail explanation. Really helpful. I would like to better understand about Visa bulletin. What is difference between date filling and final action date. We need priority date from for I-130 and when it will show under filling date box under F2B category, we can file i-485, right? And current sep 2015 people (i130 priority date) are supposed to get greencard right? and incase if my brother go to canada to visit or any reason , from where he can get police report? Is it from police station or online somewhere? Thank you so much again for all help and suggestions.
  7. For all is medical exam and police report is necessary? Or only when it requested? Thank you.
  8. From India, how to get canada police report? Need to go in person in canada? Please suggest.
  9. Thank you for feedback. So in his case, he was not arrested but police brought him from school to hospital for mental treatment. Does is count as arrest? How can I find out what is police history for him in Canada? Any suggestions will be really appreciated.
  10. I need suggestion to filling for unmarried child over 21. My brother is over 21 unmarried. And my mom just received her Greengard. My brother was in Canada on student visa. While he was studying , he was phasing mental illness issue. In last semester he was arguing with some students. So he got restricted from his college. He didn't do any violation but he was arguing verbally. He is really calm person but he didn't take his medication for 2 months so this school incidence happened. Now he is back home country. So I just would like to know when my mom will file for his greencard, will this violation will be detected in his history? will that make any issue for greencard process? What we can do in this situation? Please guide us.
