  1. Messy? Are you pointing towards criminal back ground? Or frauds or combination of all? It’s good to have interview but we do not know what exactly they will be looking for. For marriage interviews we know what needs to be done. But for vawa we submitted the proofs. And some one with poor communication and not able to relate how attorneys present or put things in places will be a tough hill. also a question to all has anyone gotten a denial from USCIS explicitly saying as word “fraud”?
  2. Correct. Even if it makes through senate and house it may not get votes from states. And even if somehow they do it can be challenged in court by that time he will be out of office hopefully.
  3. He is also planning to revoke birth citizenships for children’s born to immigrants that will take away melania and trumps son’s citizenship 😂😂
  4. Since trump taking office. Does anyone think he will change or revoke the birth citizenship of children’s born to undocumented aliens or people without status in the United States and amend the 14th Amendment?
  5. No he will not. It will be in-humanitarian and vawa is at the bottom of the barrel low concern. He can definitely do something for new arriving asylees but that can be taken to court as unconstitutional.
  6. Feel the pain. But there’s nothing we can do. Just wait and watch. We are in for a long bumpy ride.
  7. Are you talking about a reversal of i360? That it was approved and now the status has changed from Approved—>under review? if not then I believe you inquired about 485. It does not get approved just by default. USCIS before approving 485 will of course review it. But since i360 is approved it wouldn’t be much of a problem to approve 485. It is normal.
  8. It’s NBC and I got the 797 ead approved receipt. Just haven’t received the card yet. I opened up ticket with uscis to issue a new one and got a new date to not inquire till Nov 27. Amazing USCIS.
  9. Has anyone opened a ticket with USCIS for non delivery of receipt or a card? If yes then how that process have been and how long it takes for them to reissue a card and mail back to the applicant/petitioner?
  10. Whatever you just don’t do annulled. If it’s annulment it won’t qualify for vawa.
  11. Correct the behavior for the transaction to come on dashboard right away is for when a tracking number is assigned. But for a plain vanilla envelope which does not have a tracking Number it does not show up. I think they scan it on the day of delivery which finally makes it to the dashboard the front copy of the envelope for us to see. So for a no tracking number envelope I’m suspecting there’s no traceability till it’s actually out for delivery.
  12. Let’s say I’m the sending an envelope to a person A and the receiver is person B. For example When sender A is mailing it and usps have the envelope in possession and it will take few days to reach receiver B. So on USPS informed delivery dashboard which shows what mail and packages are coming is displayed on it. Does the envelope show on dashboard when usps have it in their possession to be delivered from the moment they have it or does it gives or shows the status on informed delivery dashboard on the day of delivery? I hope I Make sense here.
  13. Quick question - I’ve been using USPS informed delivery for over a a year. But I still do not know that the mail which has no tracking number gets showed up on dashboard on the day of delivery or before that when it is in usps possession from day 1? My card on uscis website says tracking unavailable which was mailed out few days ago but haven’t popped up on dashboard at.
  14. Yes. But I’m talking about a very different use case here. What I’m saying here is for scenario 1 if some applies for let’s say i360 in 2023 the processing for i360 at that given day and time was 24 months. So there processing throughout the application life cycle for them will be 24 months regardless of the processing times increase for example to 36 months in 2024. This increase in processing time will not impact their 2023 application as they will be in the lane of 24 months processing time. Is this a valid case?
  15. @Demise @God is a good God so just had a good news I checked and my ead card is out for mail. So my case when I check last week the processing time increased by month and a half and card was due by Nov 22. What I’m suspecting is that the calendar time to the case applies of when you apply. So given that if the processing times increases later it won’t affect the case is my assumption. But I may be wrong never know with uscis. What are your thoughts good people?
  16. Many many Congratulations. But I do not see you applied for i131 travel document. Any reason while you were waiting for 485 that you didn’t apply or forgot to mention it?
  17. I feel you. Crazy thing. I must ask my lawyer now why the hell he did not file correct 765. Been waiting for it since ages.
  18. Did you had a pending I130? Were you in removal proceedings?
  19. So the key word is “pending family based” i360 is self petition it is not family based. Usually if it is based off on i360 and alien is not under deportation or removal proceedings then it falls under cat 765v c27-32. On self petition and with EOIR 42 B it will be c10.
  20. Yes I did get prima facie. I know I can’t file i130. Only option is i360 with uscis and eoir 42b and i485 with court. Which are already filed. C9 is if I know is applicable only if you are still married. Because c9 is the child application of i130 if I’m not wrong. Yes I did get prima facie. I know I can’t file i130. 21. It’s Eoir 42B. Can’t qualify for c9 since we are divorced and there’s no valid i130 to support it. I360 Is still pending filling date Oct 2022. Currently the processing time as Of today for c10 is 18.5 months. It was 17 months till Monday 10/1/24.
  22. So why C10 because after first denial of i485 I was put under removal proceedings. We applied again i130 and 485. Then the relation with wife became shaky during that period and lots of abuse and specially asking for money to fulfill her lifestyle physical abuse was also involved. And threatened to withdraw the 485 petition if I do not fund her. And that’s exactly what she did one day before the interview. She withdraw the petition and we had a fall out because I did not had money or ead to work. The exact line from her during the marraige after first denial was “I married you thinking you will make money since you are an engineer and I’ll have a good life” so the vows thru thick and thin didn’t matter. Hence I was put again u see removal proceedings and had to file vawa which I was not even aware of such thing exists. Thanks to friends and family who told me I can petition under vawa. So that’s why it’s c10
  23. My EAD is c10 so it was 12 months earlier then kept getting changed and till yesterday it was 17 months and today 18.5 months. I’ve May 2023 filing of EAD.
