    Schools will require your ID and proof as address within the school district. A telephone call to the admin office of the local school district and you will be able to know exactly what they need. Banks etc will require your a iD and proof is residency and address. Your USC fiance will surely be able to provide info on these US processes Unlike some other countries, there is no federal state or local “ registration” of where you live or move to. The closest thing to that would be your drivers licence, which is issued by your state and requires you to update address details when you move within the state , and obtain a new state licence if you move to another state.

    Both the visa and the medical must be unexpired when entering the US. The medical is valid for 6 months .. the expiry date of the visa is on the visa in the passport.

    Notify who? As USCs, there is no issue with them entering and living here .. Your custody agreement and authorization to travel with them would be needed to be able to take them out of your home country

    Its always up the the officer at POE, but entering by land from Canada in your circumstances does not often cause any questions

    Yes they did broadcast it a long time ago. Its a very fast moving game with great ball handling skills and extreme fitness required. No “ prepared” plays to run … just get the ball at the center bounce and move it down the playing field to score a goal. Repeat. 4 quarters of 25 mins each .. 18 a side .. a very small number of extra players for each side .. so its full on from the first whistle to the last. Love it !

    Moved to Adjustment of status from a student, work or tourist visa as this reflects the OP’s process. What visa did he use to enter the US? Just wanting to make sure i have moved it to the correct subforum.

    If the GC and passport are in the same name, that’s all she needs. No need to be concerned. If her passport is in her maiden name, she should carry her marriage certificate as well , as that links the names on those two documents Moved to Working and traveling forum as question relates to this topic

    Documentarily qualified means that the CEAC receive all the correct documents for the application. Apart from flagging an I864 that doesn’t or may not meet the financial sponsorship requirements, it does not decide on the validity of the information contained in the documents. NVC is a “clearing house” .. an administrative process which “checks the boxes” only. The decision is fully in the hands of the Interviewing Officer Let’s not “shoot the messenger” 🫣

    My reading is the same as yours. Filling MFJ means your spouse is not a dependent for tax purposes even though they may rely on your income This is consistent with the information in the N400 instruction pdf.

    These changes will not impact the N400 application .. Just make sure you have meet the 90 day before filing residency requirements
