  1. You aren’t getting a visa .. You have .. oops.. had.. one.
  2. You have no green card coming at this point
  3. You were supposed to present this for inspection by CBP on entry into the US before the expiry date. It is a one time use visa. Presenting this triggers being processed as an LPR on entry. The visa page .. or right next to it .. is stamped at that time and annotated with class and date and serves for up to 12 months as documentation of your LPR status The physical green card which you have been asking about arrives usually in 90 days from this entry as a long as you have paid the fee.. and is then your permanent documentation Looks like you missed this boat. You can try explaining your mix up to MTL Consulate and request a reissue .. but I would be preparing to start all over again with the another I 130/ NVC process. 🫣
  4. Do not reschedule the interview. . Complete the medical and attend the interview. Final decision and processing of the visa will be on hold until the Consulate receives the medical report. This is a very common occurrence
  5. Please help us too give you good replies by filing in your timeline or at least giving is this information 1. what date was your visa interview in Montreal? 2 What was the expiry date on your visa that was placed in your passport 3. What was the date that you entered the US using the issued immigrant visa? Land or air entry ?
  6. Im confused. What was the first interview for? Filling out your timeline would help. Thx
  7. It should be but it is not always the case
  8. As already stated .. No one can tell you what the decision will be. Nothing stopping you from trying. Remember that, according to US , when you apply for the AOS it will be because you are have married since arriving on the K1 visa. Home country ceremonies will not be seen as priority because of this. But you can try
  9. Overthinking. All they will ask on your entry is what address the GC should be sent to. Cannot be a PO Box and should not be a temporary address so figure out what address will work .. could be a workplace or family or friend …. as long as their mail delivery is secure and they aren’t moving within 12 months
  10. The answer is simple. Yes. If you do not know exact dates etc for the i 130 submitted for parents that is not a problem. But given the information in your post , clearly your wife HAS petitioned for other aliens in the past.
  11. What visa category did she use to enter the US.. On what basis did she adjust status ? Was there ever an 1 130 filed on her behalf when she was resident in her home country ? it looks like a glitch .. but let just be sure ..
  12. Unless the applicants circumstances have changed, it will be the same outcome.
  13. Hotel receipts/ATM receipts/Credit /debit card statements for each of you showing in country expenses on the dates matching your itineraries , boarding passes etc
  14. The form should be clear what you need to include. From memory, what you have listed is required. Photos are not needed
  15. All clear. The relationship is not a requirement when applying under the 5 yr rule
  16. It couldn't be done online 2 years ago Thx for the update
  17. Yes i did. You take your new passport and naturalization certificate and Do v a walk in to a GE office. No appt necessary
  18. Usually you can apply and interview in either your home country or a country where you have legal residency status.
  19. The name on the ticket should match the name on the passport. Carry the GC and marriage certificate to link the two names on the GC and passport
  20. K thx for the clarification. I will move your question to the regional subforum for best responses.
  21. Just confused about your visa type -K1 fiancé, your post in the K3 forum, and your question about marrying in the Philippines. If you are using K1 visa then you need to get married here in the US once the fiancé has entered using the fiancé visa
  22. Are you asking if you can use the EAD/AP card instead of your Indian Passport to gain entry into Turkey? EAD/AP/GC are documents that are for USA residency. They carry no authority for any country other than the US. Your country of citizenship (passport ) is the one that dictates the entry requirements into another country
  23. Entered today on my US passport after a quick trip to Australia.. global entry .. walked straight through. Not a problem. 7 th trip since March 2024. No issues
