  1. Don't know for sure .. but they know all sorts of things already.. .. and my concern would be that i signed my application as true and correct and i know its not. That will be an issue far greater than accidentally omitting something …
  2. @iwannaplay54 good catch!! Would be v intetesting if it was .. and timely !! 🤪
  3. Your annual income is considered to be the figure on your tax return as “ adjusted gross income” I haven't had personal experience with financial aid and tax returns so I am not sure how it is treated /declared on a 1040 My reading is that most of the time it is declared but not included in the AGI but some individual circumstances would cause it to be included . Go in what the AGI is on your tax returns
  4. No. Only fill it in if you have assets which you consider adequate to reach the requirement. But you must complete the earlier sections regarding income for the past 3 years and current income .. even if the amount is low or zero and the tax filing questions
  5. Fairness has nothing to do with it. Its why you need to know the consequences of what you are doing before you do it. The law and intent of WOM is very clearly stated. It is to force /require a decision .. but it does NOT require the process to be “ expedited” or pushed through I used to use the same reasoning with my kids ( now in their 40s) They would want my decision now. I would offer them this “ If you want my answer now, it will be No.. if you are prepared to wait until i am ready to decide, it might be Yes.” They always chose to wait Clever wise bunnies 🤪
  6. Yes. Applying for n400 is no more expensive, usually faster and a once only task compared to repeated renewal of GC. When we were LPR here many years ago, we would have lost our Aust citizenship had we naturalized .. so we chose not to at that time. Since then, Aust has changed its laws and we now retained our Aust citizenship when naturalizing here
  7. There have been posted threads regarding this .. do a search on this site using key words
  8. Im confused Did they take the original and payment at secondary ? Or do you now have to file it. You have to be given a biometrics appointment not just turn up at the ASC or did the signed I193 just a “ formality “ ?
  9. Nope. All the ASC does is take the letter , check your ID and do biometrics .. fingerprints and photo

  11. Also it forces a decision which cannot be appealed. The delay is caused by incomplete background checking which is still to be resolved. Filing WoM wont cause the background check to be finished.. and if it is still incomplete when the WoM makes it to court then your application will be denied. Finished. If you wait it out you can still get a positive outcome. Just be aware of the risk
  12. Yep.. i did it for the same reasons as you and Letspaintcookies Thankful and made easier by the fact that there was no impact on my citizenship by birth
  13. Agree. Include it because she has it but lots of non residents have a SSN for lots of reasons. Does not show anything regarding domicile.
  14. You can correct it at the interview. I doubt it will trigger an rfe
  15. 1 It looks much stronger evidence, yes. Are you selling property / closing out a lease? Evidence of that would help too 2. IO could require your USC spouse actually establish herself in the US, yes , but my sense is that if this was going to be required then it would have been part of the rfe. However, her returning now and being able to gather further evidence such as state ID or drivers license, cell phone contract , employment letter etc would certainly be the best documentation 3 many spouses return for the 3-6 months before the beneficiary’s interview for this reason. Some consulates require it 4 the time limit is as stated in the letter you were given 5. dont delay.. gather and send assp
