    The answer is yes .. Your green card /stamped visa is your evidence varies state to state and institution to institution usually evidence of lpr status, evidence of current residential address, SSN, some times birth certificate. Pretty easy to research online, call or visit in person.. thats what we all did .. .

    Yes you can. The stamped visa is your temporary GC You need a SSN to get paid.. but not to apply for a job.. but best to get it in hand asap. Its a simple task . You will often need a SSN to get a driver's licence

    He should get the visa issued. Enter the US, apply for a Reentry permit, get his SSN in hand, stay until he either does biometrics for the permit or sees that on file biometrics are being reused.. then he can return to his wife. He will have 2 years from the date of issue of the reentry permit where he can remain out of the US without his LPR status being presumed abandoned. Otherwise he will be back at square one and require a new application for an IV

    Your husband/children situation has no impact on your interview. You ate now in line for the interview date to be scheduled. Depends on what the backlog is like for London. You can search the timelines on the vj website .. look for IR/CR1 visa and the London consulate .. you can see their who have had interviews and updated their timeline ..     Thx for your well wishes. Unfortunately its a very niche piece of equipment that only parents with high medical risk kids would have.. regular finger pulse ox wont work.. she has headed to Nashville children's hospital .. a very frequent drive unfortunately .. ..

    Totally unlikely but you never know. My daughter in the Jackson TN area has a very urgent need for an infant pulse ox meter .. her amazon order is delayed and her 8 month old son with Cystic Fibrosis has a viral cold.. if she can check his O2 level.. and its still good.. she can maybe avoid the 2 hr drive to the closest ER that can care for him.. so asking just on the very off chance.. thx ..

    It will work its way through the system. It may take 60 days according to the USCIS website . Not sure if you will receive anything back from them Just submit the i 130 as usual and wait. You could include a copy of the I407, delivery notice and an attached cover note.

    Yes we have done it. Same process No faster. Keep copies of everything. Do you have a copy of the I407 relinquish of GC ?

    1. You could have checked the boxes 2. You didn't have to check the boxes 3. Checking the boxes MAY have saved you a trip to SSA if they actually followed through and sent a new card .. hit and miss 4. Your SSN remains the same. Go to the SSA with your paperwork and get an unrestricted card issued

    Yes. 5 year rule does not require ongoing cohabitating marriage with petitioning spouse. Be ready to explain your situation and dates etc if asked. Requirements are clearly laid out on the USCIS N400 page https://www.uscis.gov/n-400

    Many beneficiaries do not have a current passport at the time their petitioner is filing the I130. Leave it blank. Its not the same as leaving critical identity information, such as a birthdate or address area, blank. All good

    Its all you can do. .. and all you must do. You must respond to the RFIE… which you are doing .. and you cant file an I130 The USCIS workers are people like us.. not perfect .. human..capsule of misreading just like i am.. or hitting the wrong key on the keyboard .. like I do!!

    Please confirm what form you submitted.. im assuming the I 129f .. Make sure that q 5 has NOT been filled in Send a photocopy of the first page of your I129f.. highlight 4(a).. and a simple cover letter stating 1. my petition is for K1 fiance 2. i checked the box for 4(a) on my I129f petition form 3. concurrent filing of I130 does not apply for my K1 application
