You have 6 months .. sometimes a little less .. to enter the US once your visa is issued. Gives you plenty of time to meet your employment requirements
Dont quit ANYTHING until you have the visa in your passport. Until then, anything can happen. Even the “simplest” application can have an unexpected issue .. and remember what happened to processing and interviews over 2020-2022 .

The IV visa is a single use document .. but once endorsed on entry by CBP it becomes the temporary I551 ( green card) valid for 12 months. This temporary I551 is what she will use to enter the US.. not the “visa”
You dont “write” anything for the written test. You listen to the short sentence spoken by the interviewer and you use the tablet /ipad to type the sentence using the on screen keyboard

Likely the interviewer will want to see nothing that you have listed but youve got it if needed
Not instead of .. you are not a visitor of either country …but if you are keeping a FL address as your US residence … even a family members address .. you can keep licensing insurance plates (swap plates on arrival in FL) current and active at the same time as having all the Canadian equivalents
