  1. Need to wait until your wife has taken the naturalization oath and has her certificate in hand before MIL can apply for AOS.. if this happens before the MIL authorized stay expires
  2. I fully agree with CrazyCat. Sounds like you have way bigger things to deal with and worry about than the I864. Good luck
  3. I 864 is not indefinite. Even without becoming a USC, the obligation ceases once 1. you have 40 SS quarters as she is tgen eligible for a spouse SS income if surviving benefit once she meets the SS eligibility( over 62 for the first.. your death 😵‍💫 for the second) 2. she earns 40 SS quarters herself
  4. Then you are correct You are likely to be up for a very long wait for the AOS to be approved. What is the expected wait time for your interview at your consulate. Are you filing for the work and travel permits also ? Without then you csnnot rernter the US if you leave, nor can you work or possibly get a drivers licence .
  5. Item 3. Decision (for example, approved, refused, denied, withdrawn) Item 4. Date of decision (mm/dd/yyyy)" I believe my answer to: Item 1 = "Yes" Item 3 = "Withdrawn" Item 4 = same Date I sign I-485 Would these responses be accurate? Have you completed the NVC stage following I 130 approval .. this includes the Ds260 which is the application for an immigrant visa. If you have not reacted that stage then the answer is no
  6. Ah. Looking at mask mandates is very different from looking at the efficacy of masks when worn correctly. No disagreement there. Two different things being studied
  7. I 751. Removal of conditions. Must be filed in the 90 day period preceding the expiry of your conditional green card The “receipt” you receipt after filing the paperworks extends your GC status for 24 months while the application is being processed. You will need both the receipt letter and the expired GC as evidence of lawful stay. moved to Removal of Conditions as this reflects the current status for OP
  8. Many marriage certificates list the woman's maiden name only .. the husbands name will be on the certificate also.. this is standard evidence of name change if the woman chooses to use her husbands last name on legal documents
  9. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/all-forms/filing-your-form-g-28#:~:text=received from USCIS.-,Withdraw your legal representative, case without any legal representation. most of the way down the page .. how to advise USCIS that you are cancelling the G28 and now acting in your own behalf Google search on the official website is always and easy first step
  10. Yes I agree with the ambiguity. If your only income is w2 based its easier to pill that figure out and tax transcripts will verify that if needed
  11. Against my better judgement , I am posting a response.. and I am sure I will regret it .. People really need to take a critical closer look at the studies used in the article .. only a couple of them were COVID19 mask studies and those that were COVID 19 studies were based on whether the public was advised to wear masks.. not whether people actually wore masks at all .. or wore them effectively. Statistics .. love them and hate them .. they can be used to say anything .. the devil is in the detail Wisely now.. I am out 🤪
  12. https://www.uscis.gov/n-400 Its all in the link above. Official instructions which include specific directions on required documentation
  13. 1. Correct 2. find the line on your return that is your total income and enter that number Lift the info directly from the return
  14. The answer is yes .. Your green card /stamped visa is your evidence varies state to state and institution to institution usually evidence of lpr status, evidence of current residential address, SSN, some times birth certificate. Pretty easy to research online, call or visit in person.. thats what we all did .. .
  15. Yes you can. The stamped visa is your temporary GC You need a SSN to get paid.. but not to apply for a job.. but best to get it in hand asap. Its a simple task . You will often need a SSN to get a driver's licence
  16. He should get the visa issued. Enter the US, apply for a Reentry permit, get his SSN in hand, stay until he either does biometrics for the permit or sees that on file biometrics are being reused.. then he can return to his wife. He will have 2 years from the date of issue of the reentry permit where he can remain out of the US without his LPR status being presumed abandoned. Otherwise he will be back at square one and require a new application for an IV
  17. Your husband/children situation has no impact on your interview. You ate now in line for the interview date to be scheduled. Depends on what the backlog is like for London. You can search the timelines on the vj website .. look for IR/CR1 visa and the London consulate .. you can see their who have had interviews and updated their timeline .. Moved to UK regional subforum for consulate specifuc assistance
  18. Thx for your well wishes. Unfortunately its a very niche piece of equipment that only parents with high medical risk kids would have.. regular finger pulse ox wont work.. she has headed to Nashville children's hospital .. a very frequent drive unfortunately .. ..
  19. Totally unlikely but you never know. My daughter in the Jackson TN area has a very urgent need for an infant pulse ox meter .. her amazon order is delayed and her 8 month old son with Cystic Fibrosis has a viral cold.. if she can check his O2 level.. and its still good.. she can maybe avoid the 2 hr drive to the closest ER that can care for him.. so asking just on the very off chance.. thx ..
  20. It will work its way through the system. It may take 60 days according to the USCIS website . Not sure if you will receive anything back from them Just submit the i 130 as usual and wait. You could include a copy of the I407, delivery notice and an attached cover note.
  21. Yes we have done it. Same process No faster. Keep copies of everything. Do you have a copy of the I407 relinquish of GC ?
  22. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html Time to study the link above .. get a good understanding now of the next steps.
