    Its too late for SSN application now .. needs to be done with at least 14 days remaining on the 90 day stay .. and practically it should be done as soon as the fiance enters the US to give as much time as possible for the process to be completed

    The expiry date on the K1 visa is immaterial now. The visa is a one use only document and is used in entry. Having filed for AOS.. and responding as required with and RFE, she remains in a period of authorized stay until the process has been completed Your only task beyond that is to enjoy life together.. oh and begin gathering documents for the next stage .. Removal of Conditions.. that will be done 2 years after getting through AOS. These documents give evidence of your shared life over the next few years

    The minimum is certainly only that .. the consular officer has the authority to make the final decision and its based on their assessment of the financials and the case as a whole. I would hope that your income will be seen as more than sufficient .. I would be surprised if it wasn't.. but no one can tell you with 100% certainty. It rests with the IO at the interview

    Mmm. no refund if biometrics are reused i think that if you checked the “lost GC” box then you will get a replacement card with the same details as the lost one .. including the expiry date of June 2023 if this is what happens then you will need to apply for a renewal before the expiry date Maybe someone will actually look at details and renew rather than replace but i doubt it Renewal can be done within the 6 months prior to expiry, so unfortunately you could have legitimately applied for a renewal instead of a replacement

    Enter the visa number. Doesn't matter if it is in a now expired passport. That visa was the one that granted you entry

    Some get an RFE requesting an I 864a from the joint sponsor spouse.. others get accepted without it. Unknown why and when and how the decision is made

    Not necessary to have fathers name .. for K1 you are not needing to show your parental relationship .. just your existence

    Please give us the exact wording on the RFE. Do you have any self employment income ?

    You have 6 months .. sometimes a little less .. to enter the US once your visa is issued. Gives you plenty of time to meet your employment requirements

    Dont quit ANYTHING until you have the visa in your passport. Until then, anything can happen. Even the “simplest” application can have an unexpected issue .. and remember what happened to processing and interviews over 2020-2022 .

    The ACA website can’t cope with someone over 65 .. automatically assumes they the applicant is eligible for Medicare.. but you can call and speak with an ACA navigator who can talk you through the process

    Each application stands alone .. though a resistant dependent interviewing wt the same time doesn't sound good. Your wife must enter the US before either her visa or medical expire .. may be up to six months after interview or less depending on the timing of her medical .. so the daughters process can’t be too far behind her mothers. It sounds like a ticking time bomb situation that you’re entering into …

    Translation is required for documents such as birth, death, divorce, marriage certificates etc

    Updated are only done once a day .. evening /overnight usually

    The IV visa is a single use document .. but once endorsed on entry by CBP it becomes the temporary I551 ( green card) valid for 12 months. This temporary I551 is what she will use to enter the US.. not the “visa”

    You dont “write” anything for the written test. You listen to the short sentence spoken by the interviewer and you use the tablet /ipad to type the sentence using the on screen keyboard
