  1. The petitioner is always the primary sponsor even if their income is insufficient.. she completes the I864. As her spouse you are going to combine your income .. she will fill in your details in the “additional household member” section of her I864 and you will complete the I 864a form. Ensure you both have all the required documentation as needed for both forms. Upload everything
  2. Yes whatever visa category you used when admitted to the US yes it is multiple reentry
  3. Yes damage waiver. Lots of different terms depending on country
  4. There may be issues with the current stored biometrics taken at POE.. usually the fingerprints … and during processing of the GC this was noticed. My card was delayed for months because of the quality of my prints at POE. If this is what has happened… . be glad they identified it early
  5. Expect a surcharge if you are under 25 no matter who you hire from. Larger companies like Avis, Hertz etc are kore expensive but usually have better coverage for collision damage etc. Discount companies like Budget, Enterprise are cheaper at the base rare but add extra costs for insurance, one way etc Never rent without including hire company vehicle damage insurance.. you can choose to decline other forms of insurance if you want ..buying a third party hire vehicle insurance often means you need to pay full costs first then claim back for your insurer
  6. Rest of the world speak for rental.. yes
  7. See if you can add her receipt number. If you cant then she will need to set one up
  8. She will get the GC if the fee is paid. 60 days isnt guaranteed. Mine was 7 months. Without the stamp on her IV visa she has no documentation of her LPR status until the GC arrives. No drivers license, no bank account, unable ti complete the documentation to be verified to work. Its an inconvenience yes. Its not your mistake. But it is your problem. Drive to Baltimore
  9. It means you are to use the checklist to prepare the paperwork and documents .. but that you make sure 1. you complete forms in line with the instructions for each form 2. you provide all requested documents as indicated by both the provided checklist AND the forms/instructions 3. you do not send the checklist paper as part of the packet .. don't use it as a cover sheet or contents list The evidence/documents you describe fall under the categories of demonstrating you have met face to face, and that you have a legitimate relationship… as outlined on the I129f instructions. They form part of your application The first section of the checklist .. headed “ Did you provide the following” is for ALL petitioners filing this form The section of this “ checklist” that applies specifically to K1 applicants also list the requirement to state your intention to marry within 90 days of entering the US and evidence that you have met face v to face v within N the prev 2 years Reread the USCIS page again with these things in mind .. hopefully it will make more sense There is a link towards the top of the same page directing you to the pdf instructions. If you haven’t done so already, print off this and read and highlight the sections and documents needed. The checklist is really just a summary of part of the instructions.
  10. Follow the consulate requirements. They have jurisdiction and discretion over the interview and what is required
  11. From memory, you fill it in before you go.. but check if you have to sign it in their presence If in doubt, fill in everything except a signature (if its required) Its been a while since I did mine.. but i think it just saves the officer from having to ask for the information .. they just copy it from the form
  12. She must urgently contact the issuing consulate and the package must be resealed by the consulate
  13. 😁thx. I wondered if it was something like that !! You get A+ for perseverance !!
  14. @Margo2017777 I am a little confused by your timeline .. K1 and AOS.. and now IR1.
  15. You should have been given the information when your passport was returned to you .. but here is the link https://my.uscis.gov/uscis-immigrant-fee/
  16. You need to pay the $220 fee for the production of the actual card . Recommended to pay it before you enter. On entry your ir visa will be stamped and endorsed by the CBP officer and will be your evidence of lpr status while you wait for the actual card to be delivered. It can take weeks or months to come You have LPR status as soon as you enter the US Your documentation is electronic .. no envelope.
  17. CBP should be able to see that the date the new GC was issued was while you were out of the country. Worst case scenario i think would be a detour to secondary on arrival .. and you get to explain as you have done in your post
  18. You can print off the AR11 if you file it electronically. And if i remember correctly you also get a confirmation filing number
  19. They don't do anything about your child at the interview apart from update her file to include the child’s details. . You should proceed with CRBA immediately as you will then need to get the child's US passport before the child can enter the US. Congratulations on your newborn!
  20. My daughter now 42 lives with CFS /ME since her early 20’s. My heart goes out to you. Yes you complete a medical history for the medical but it is not a “ traditional” medical assessment as you might have for employment, insurance etc. It is focussed on identifying a small subset of conditions which are listed as making the applicant permanently or temporarily inadmissible.. ongoing untreated or uncontrolled psychiatric, illegal drug use, communicable diseases such as TB etc.. Things like diabetes, hypertension, obesity, preexisting cardiac events etc. are not issues. The IO doesn't investigate the medical report .. they look at the bottom line.. is there a listed reason for inadmissibility. Dont leave out your cfs history …. that is a big mistake. Don’t over play it either. You are managing it and you are doing well in doing so !! The bigger factor will be the petitioner's I 864.. . Adequate stable ingoing income mitigates the risk of the immigrant becoming a public charge.
  21. Unless it was flagged in your medical report .. and i doubt it would be as it is neither psychiatric nor communicable.. i dont see why it would even be known to the IO
  22. I wish😬. Each I 130 stands alone and is processed separately. Linking is a task done “ manually” on request if sometimes by an observant USCIS worker. Good advice already about getting the identified together at the NVC stage once both have been sent there
