Curious how long it takes for N-400 to get approved after approved I-751

I had a combo interview a while back and got approved for I-751 recently (status switched to "card is being produced").

Does anyone have experience with and know how long after that you can get approved for N-400 and then timeline for oath ceremony??

Ye that's my concern as well. Interview seemed to go well with no red flags so I don't want to give them a reason to be upset at this point. This hold-and-wait pattern is killing me.

@Zombie69: think I will move forward with contacting reps. My only concern is it stirs the pot unnecessarily and upsets USCIS even more.

@MK108: both I-751 and N-400 are still pending. No updates on the egov tracker or dhs account page

It has been 2 months since my combo I-751 and N-400 interview with no update.

Do you think it's wise for me to contact my congressperson and senator to apply pressure? Or should I just keep waiting it out?

I agree with Zombie, there is not much you can do.  When you left your interview did they give you anything related to recommended for approval related to the N400?  For us it was a little over a month of nothing, then the I751 NOA approval showed up in the mail, then the N400 status was changed and oath was soon scheduled.

I did get an "approval" letter for the English/civics portion of N400. However, decision couldn't be made because of pending I-751. For I-751, I got a notice of continuance. It's good to hear that you still got approved after a month of waiting. I am onto the 1.5 month of waiting now so I will try to wait another 2 months before I contact my congress person and seek other venues.

If the applicant has an unreasonable delay, the applicant could petition a federal court to force USCIS to adjudicate your case, but you need a lawyer for that, and it will be an expensive endeavor. • I thought "mandumous" is only applied to N400 and it has to be 120 days after the interview that you can file it. Is that true? I don't mind forking out some money to move this along as this is impairing with my work performance (too much stress and anxiety). Perhaps I should consult an attorney at this point (I remember she did tell me the 120 days piece). I am wondering if anyone tries (or should try) congressman / senator at this stage in my timeline: over 2 years for I-751 and over 1 year for N-400. You are right here; I should just try to stay calm and patient.
• My trick to get tier 1 officer is to not press any buttons and that lands me in a rotary phone tier 1 agent. Do you know of any better tricks :)

Just a quick update from my case:

• I filed for I-751 in 2/2017
• I filed for N-400 in 2/2018
• We had a combo interview last month

With that timeline, I have two questions:

1. Since it has been a month without any updates, is there anything I can do to speed it along / status check?
2. Does anyone know the steps to reach the tier 2 officer directly by calling in the standard 1 (800) 375-5283 number?

I think I placed March 22, 2017. And I am a CSC California filer and case moved to Nebaska on June 2018.

You lucked out big time then haha. I put Feb, 2017 but no dice. Congrats and thank you!

If that wouldnt work for your case, others did suggest calling a Tier 2 agent. That may work too.

And just to confirm -- are you California or Nebraska?

Since Nebraska inquiry time is still 2016, I am wondering how you were able to submit an inquiry for case outside normal processing time?
When i tried to do that for California, it flags me as case still within normal processing time.
