  2. 1. Paper form says “if applicable. So leave blank 2. Get a virtual U.S. phone number 3. ditto 4. Check: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/799298-n-600k-complete-experienceprocess-canada-to-usa/
  3. Nope. Case in point we received neither a recommendation for approval nor a list of what needed to be submitted. And I have cited counter examples where RFEs were sent after interview.
  4. File just I-130 now. Once approved, the case moves to NVC. NVC will want I-864, DS-260, and civil documents. See https://www.visajourney.com/guides/us-immigration-for-parents/ https://www.visajourney.com/guides/us-immigration-guide-for-parents/ https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition.html
  5. I would use EMMA to get a live chat session to request an RFE and/or a tier 2 officer to call you regarding your case. Normally I would suggest just sending the evidence as unsolicited, but not in the case of sealed evidence like I-693.
  6. My impression has always been that RFEs after I-485 interviews a not unheard of. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/756645-interview-experience-sept-2019-filer-received-rfe-after-interview/ https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/761178-issue-with-post-i485-interview-rfe/ https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/463482-rfe-after-i-485-interview,please-give-me-some-suggestion/
  7. It is apparent that while Lincoln, Wilson, FDR, Truman, Ike, LBJ, and GWB, were willing to fight to last American, their use of conscription (backdoor draft for GWB) did not indicate they actually ran out of Americans. Simply visit places like Hiroshima if anyone has any doubt.
  8. The RFE directed you to respond by a deadline, correct? It did not tell you to include a copy of the RFE with the response?
  9. It said “may” and you sent them anyway. Wow. Given it said “may” not “must”, you should expect to never see those documents again.
  10. * 5 minutes to off ramp to station. Longer to avoid Chevron / Texaco which is harder to do in AZ and CA * 5 minutes to pump a gallon of gas and pay at pump * 5 minutes to clean windshield and head lights * 2 minutes to move car from pump so that others can pump fuel * figure another 3 minutes to wait for my wife to return from the rest room, since in California I don’t like to leave my vehicle with valuables unattended and her being a person lacking male genitals (what society used to call a female), her wait is usually longer * 5 minutes in the rest room for me if no wait, and paper towels available to dry hands after washing. Otherwise under the futility of the air dryer, and then * 5 minutes to on ramp to freeway * This does not account for the overhead of pan handlers (a common problem in California, NM, and CO). So at least 30 minutes. Versus an EV: * 10 minutes off/on ramp * 20 minutes to charge, during which there is plenty of time to use the nearest rest room and pay the noble merchant for a token product like a snack or beverage. * cleaning windshield and head lamps not essential since the car does most of the driving As an immigrant, I am curious how a much time a natural born American spends on a bio stop while on an Interstate. Perhaps there is some thing essential and actually practical that the Civics Test did not cover that I am missing. As per the cited article, apparently it is good form to urinate in public, which admittedly would save significant time. But this is not a habit I care to adopt.
  11. Technically the consulate should not issue immigration visas to people who are still LPRs, but then again we are talking about U.S. consulates in Canada, which are not stellar adherents to law and policy. For good housekeeping, file I-407 by DHL or FexEx now.
  12. The question in my mind is if there has to be a pending N-400 to prevent CBP from making a successful case for abandonment of LPR status or does simply being a spouse of a U.S. citizen working for a 319(b) auffice?
  13. I do not feel entitled to use a private establishment’s rest room unless I am a paying customer.
  14. I am surprised you do not see the false logic being used here. A K-1 visa is a based on a promise, a CR-1 visa is based on a commitment. With a K-1 and CR-1 you will * end your life in Brazil. * travel to the U.S. After that the similarities end. With K-1, whether you actually start a new life in the U.S. depends on your fiancé and his mother. With CR-1, especially if you wait to enter the U.S. until 2 years after you marry, you are free to start a new life in the U.S. even if your husband or his mother reject you. K-1 is generally an unsafe visa. For you even more so. You also have a child to consider. Is your child a U.S. citizen?
  15. 1. Is he over age 18? 2. After she meets you, is it assured she will let him marry you?
