    Use the Guam CNMI visa waiver to travel to Guam. This is not esta. Do not tell the airline you are an LPR. At the port of entry identify yourself as an LPR. Prepare to pay the I-193 fee. Refuse to sign I-407. Ask for an I-551 stamp at port of entry. Otherwise, once admitted to the USA, call USCIS, say “info pass”, and request an appointment to get an I-551 stamp. Do not leave the U.S. until you have a stamp. Next time come back to the U.S. before your I-551 expires.

    Where will your husband be on the day you enter the USA? Technically the only thing you need is the visa and whatever the embassy gave you to hand to CBP. A marriage certificate would be prudent as would committing to memory the address where you will be living with your husband. Expect a secondary inspection but sometimes there won’t be.

Everyone who arrives at LAX on an international flight meets CBP. You have valid documents for entering the USA. If there are kiosks, use those. They will look at your face and most times instantly admit you entry into the USA.

    Priuses are ugly. I feel the same way about Nissan Leafs. When used to charge my EV at fork I could count on Leaf owners disconnecting me while I was still charging.

    It’s a bitter cold 58 degrees in Vegas as I type this. The Mrs could barely finish her yard of frozen Margarita on Fremont Street tonight but she powered through it like a trooper. We will return to southern AZ tomorrow by heading due south to Yuma (forecast to be a frigid 73 degrees then due east to Tucson (an unbearable 68 degrees). Along the way we will have to brave a near freezing Kingman, AZ (60 degrees). A bit indirect but don’t want to risk a blizzard through Flagstaff (a dangerous zero percent forecast of snow tomorrow, with high temperatures barely hitting 50 degrees). Pray for us. This global warming is very upsetting.

One per quarter. * Costco and AAA renewal statements in both names * joint auto insurance * joint title on car * two references from friends (both U.S. citizens). Not notarized * all flight and cruise itineraries taken since I-485 interview We did not provide joint title on home, joint lease on home, joint mortgage on home.

    Exact date won’t be needed. If filing online and the form requires a peruse date, enter a date that you know for certain is after her date of naturalization. Then attach a statement from you that says the date is approximate because the naturalization certificate was lost but regardless naturalization occurred after you reached age 18. If filing by paper, enter the year of naturalization if you know it. Otherwise use the same strategy as above. Are you a male?

    1. Original signature must be wet and a photo copy of that signed sheet of paper can be submitted 2. Your relative should sign a statement stating that the three of you live with the relative. It should state when this started.

    No they didn’t question it. They’ve no legal basis to ask that question. And no basis to deny for late filing. Over the decades INS and then CBP at the port of entry pressured me to file. Once I filed, CBP was noticeably nicer.

    If the baby has a U.S. passport then the fact your spouse and baby will be traveling with you has no relevance to the issue of your lack of a valid I-551.

    I said to be prepared to pay the I-193 fee. I didn’t say to fill out the form. The CBP officer will decide if I-193 and the fee is required. Is your spouse a U.S. citizen? Is your baby a U.S. citizen?
