  1. Since you haven’t filed I-129F yet, you should have married when you were together and then filed I-130.
  2. Not sure. Everyone of these have been on national TV multiple times: 0. 1970s. Getting KFC in the drive through in Edmonton. Some guy in a Colonel Sanders get up is packing up the meals. I’m a kid. I figure it’s an employee pranking. Decades later I read about Harland Sanders, and it turns out he in fact moved to Canada and did make a habit of working in his KFC stores. So I am 100 percent certain that was real Colonel who founded KFC. 1. Carter 2. Ronnie Lot at a hotel near Candlestick Park New Years Eve 1988 the night before a game against the Vikings. Never liked the 9ers, but nothing but respect for Ronnie and his tough play. 3. Summer Sanders at Pier 39, San Francisco after she won gold in Barcelona 1992 4. Roger Neilson in at Cow Palace at a Sharks game in the 1992-1993 NHL season after he was fired from the Rangers. Always like Roger. He was the video analyst for the Edmonton Oilers during their first Cup run in 1984. 5. Lott’s teammate, Harris Barton in late 1990s at a restaurant in Palo Alto. He sold my friend his house and he happened to be leaving while we were sitting down 6. Governor “Richard” (he never went by that name, thanks visa journey) Lamm on a United Airlines flight from Denver to San Francisco, sometime in the late 1990s. We were both in coach. Prior to that, Lamm ran for the 1996 Reform Parry nomination 7. Bernie Ebbers in the Hertz Car rental bus from SFO in the late 1990s while he was still flying high at WorldCom during the dot com bubble 8. Senator Biden at Dulles airport in the airport security line: he and his aides were skimming / mocking the 9/11 Report so that would be late July 2004, probably July 30. 9. March 5, 2013, arriving into Sydney, lined up for immigration, Russell Crowe comes barreling down in a golf cart and is whisked to the front of the line 10. Enes Kanter on a flight from Turkish Airlines, Istanbul to Male, July 4, 2014.
  3. Cool then along Scandi’s idea your letter should note that your child was an adult during the statuary period and regardless you didn’t owe child support.
  4. Sad but he had a long good run. I shook Carter’s hand inside a souvenir shop on Cozumel Island in December 1983.
  5. You should join this thread: USCIS announced extension letters will be 48 months. So it is the new normal. She should receive a 48 month extension letter before September 2023.

  7. Joint returns are strong evidence of bonafide marriage. If there will be an N-400 on the basis of 3 years marriage to a U.S. citizen, MFJ is more such evidence.
  8. https://www.dhs.gov/real-id/real-id-faqs If my state issues an Enhanced Driver’s Licenses, is that sufficient for my state to be REAL ID compliant? State Enhanced Driver’s Licenses (EDL) designated as acceptable border-crossing documents by DHS under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) are acceptable for official federal purposes (i.e., boarding a commercial aircraft, accessing a federal facility, or entering a nuclear power plant). However the existence of an EDL is not sufficient to consider the state to be in overall compliance for purpose of determining whether a federal agency may accept a state’s regular driver’s license for official purposes. For example, a federal agency could accept an EDL issued from a state but not be able to accept a standard driver’s license from that same state. Washington State is not REAL ID complaint. It doesn’t matter what a DHS colored map says or what DHS says elsewhere.
  9. I bought a month of renewable major medical policy that was advertised on VJ for K-1s while researching this topic in 2018. (Can’t name the insurer now because the moderators unhappy for naming / linking to it when I first answered this question. Even though visajourney pushed the ad. You can use a search engine to find coverage. And due to cookie magic watch visajourney push the ad.) Then as soon as my fiancée entered, I added her as a domestic partner to my employer’s health care coverage. Then as soon as we married, upgraded her status to a spouse on my employer’s health care coverage, which lowered my premiums. Then once her K-1 -based SSN came through, updated my employer health coverage record with her SSN so that the nag emails stopped.
  10. Governments are rarely toppled when bellies are full. And when they are toppled the replacement government is usually worse.
  11. Not seeing the analogy then. As for numbers the U.S. had those in Vietnam , Iraq, and Afghanistan. All 3 were bitter defeats.
  12. https://www.lufthansa.com/us/en/current-fees Depending on the fare booking code it is either $200 or zero dollars per ticket to rebook. Easy choice for me. Attend the N-400 interview
  13. He left a year after you filed I-485. Why didn’t you file I-131 when you filed I-485? This case is so messed up that it will require the talents of an immigration attorney or someone who went through the same scenario (and properly informed DHS to resolve it). The problem with using that gc is that even if CBP admits the green card holder, years down the road, say during an N-400 case, USCIS could see that I-485 was abandoned. Given the I-485 was approved, it isn’t clear to me that the approved I-130 is valid.
  14. No. I think white people have it in our genetic code, like birds are coded to fly south for the winter.
  15. At a protest against the murderous dictator of Burma, Min Aung Hlaing, the organizers were hanging him in effigy. With a slip knot. Ugh. I couldn’t abide that, so I retied the rope into a hangman’s noose, I wasn’t sure until now why I knew how to tie a hangman’s noose: it must be because of all the family celebrations to celebrate lynching that I went to as a white kid.
  16. I always bookmark important threads. OP’s report is the third such report I’ve read about. Remember when visajourney used to highlight interesting threads under a section called Community Spotlight? Pepperridge Farm remembers.
  17. Was the child under 18 in the past 5 years?
