  1. Mine is also in Nebraska and on March 17 2024 the estimate was January 19 2025. However it was approved on March 20 th.
  2. I was worried about the I-751 since I have been told how important co-mingled finances are - we do not have that as in at all. There are several reasons for that but mostly because we are both over 50 with children in both countries so what is in US is his and what is in Denmark is mine. There is one exception and that is health insurance since I do not work. I asked my husbands daughter, our neighbor and the chairman of the local water district - I am a member on the board - if they would be kind enough to write a letter to the USCIS and explain that we are indeed married and living together for better or worse. They did. I did not include any explanation as to why we do not share bank accounts etc, since I planned to explain that at the interview. I have only had one issue with the extension letter for 48 months and that was arriving in Minneapolis, where some guy obviously had a bad day and send me off to be further interviewed without him even looking at the letter. I missed my connecting flight but was only asked if I had any meat with me. When I received the RFE I assumed it to be about the "lack" of sharing but it was to inform me that I had not included an explanation as to why I filed 7 days late. I answered that I thought I just had to mail it before the card expired - I know now that it has to be "received" by them before that date. Actually it was there on the day my card expired but it took a week for them to process it. On March 11th 2024 I send my reply to the RFE and today I checked to see if it was received. It was on the 15th, new card was ordered on the 19th and case was approved on the 20th. Guess I'm good for another 10 years - I will apply for citizenship at some point in the near future though.
