  1. Stirring the sh--, hey brother?

well, brother arijit not around today sister..

It's all good with me. I didn't see why everyone got in such an uproar over the other one. And I am a woman.

    Because you're cool and they're not. ;)

  2. I am fine answering questions about morning rituals, or if I go to the bathroom with the door open or shut... etc... but I draw the line here :P

Actually, if we're drawing lines, I'd go the other way; I think the bathroom info is worse than the bedroom info...

Does anyone take a dump on the phone?

Or how about passing gas into the phone handset... perhaps that deserves its own poll

When I was a kid, it all seems like it was yesterday when things like this would happen. It was yesterday! :innocent:

  3. I read back a few pages and saw I missed a discussion about weddings. I went to the wedding of my oldest and dearest friend the weekend before last in Oregon. She and her man are big into Lord of the Rings, and they were dressed as hobbits. It was the cutest thing I'd ever seen.

I still have yet to do a hobbit wedding...I always look forward to seeing something different. But I will pass on the naked men dancing to "Loveshack". ;)

  4. Not too much James Brown Nagi. But I will tell you something funny about "Loveshack" that happen at a wedding my friend did. It turned out the reception was "clothing optional" and he was unaware of it. He said they kept trying to get him to join in the festivities. But he said he was never more afraid until he saw naked men upclose dancing to "Loveshack" in front of him and next to him! I think he earned his tip that night!

  5. Tell us another favourite JoeMama!

Old Time Rock n' Roll, Celebration, Play That Funky Music, Brickhouse, Baby Got Back, Mony Mony, as far as standard stuff goes.

Motown stuff: Respect, Ain't Too Proud To Beg, I Feel Good, Shout

Country: Man! I Feel Like A Woman, Redneck Woman, Save A Horse

Classic Rock: Twist and Shout, Satisfaction, Wooly Bully

Geez!!!!!! It goes on and on! You get the hint though ;)

Really??? That's the funniest song EVER! "I-Like-Big-Butz- and I cannot Lie!" hahahha so funny

It's not so funny when it's an 80 year old woman shaking her thang in front of you to that song!

  7. Sorry to hear that Nagi. I hope it passes quickly so it can move forward for you ;)

Sol: No one has ever asks for "How Deep Is Your Love" in many years. I've learned how to tune out all the music I don't like that I have to play. Some of that stuff could drive a person to go bonkers! It is truly a gift of a DJ ;)

  8. wearing a kilt PWNS.. i have a picture somewhere, of Pedro the Mexican Highlander

I hope you added a touch of Mexican flavor to it with a sombrero!

lol, no, i was hatless.. but nevertheless, a very macho highlander

hatless...okay...I hope you were at least wearing underwear under that kilt! I'm sure you didn't want someone running up trying to play your bagpipe!

  9. Yuck, drunk people  Which is a popular song in weddings? some from the Bee Gees?

If I only had a dollar for every time I had to play "Stayin' Alive", I'd be living in Beverly Hills! :D

It depends on what people like as far as music. I once did a wedding reception where the bride only wanted punk music. Nothing else. Of course, the older people there were complaining after the 2nd punk song. I told them the bride specifically wanted only punk music and they would have to talk to her. The older people left. But the reception was pretty wild! ;)

  10. Sol, when does your wedding take place?

    On Saturday!!!

Congrats then! I'm actually not working this weekend for once. I'm a wedding DJ for the last 10 years. I decided to take it easier this year and relax more. Besides, my girls (3 daughters) needed to be with me more this summer. ;)

Thanks JM!!!! It would have been AWESOME to have you as our DJ!

I love working weddings...well, at least, most of them. I sometimes have to deal with some very drunk people that are so pushy and cause situations. They want "their" song next by any means necessary. Then to have them breathe all over me almost makes me drunk sometimes! :help:
