  1. Don't forget that not everyone is on VJ and it is possible some who are on VJ just hasn't reported the IL. December does tend to have a smaller amount of interviews. Hopefully that is all that is going on.
  2. I never go the extension letters for my kids. We didn't end up needing them(they should have requested one when getting their DL but they accepted mine) we got lucky I guess. We didn't travel either so that helped. With the way things are going and how long it is taking I would get the extension letter for your child.
  3. ~~Moved to Working and Traveling During Immigration Process, from AOS from W,S & T Visas - as the OP is asking about working with an EAD~~

  6. Well I'm glad someone else said it because it screamed scam when I first read the OP.
  7. It cannot be any doctor and the ones who you get to pick from do not just want to fill out a form. They make you redo the medical and this is not cheap.
  8. Call the clinic and ask if it is ok if you get the vaccines started and fax them proof to update your medical. You might get lucky and they haven't mailed it off yet. The first two doses of Hep B need to be given 30 days apart, the 3rd dose is 6 months from the second dose. If you can fax all the vaccines proof that your GP gave, you might be able to have them mark off that it is completed. Without having to start over from square 1 in the US, as finding a doctor to just update and fill in the vaccine worksheet seems to be hard to find.
  9. You should ask for the notes in his passport. It might help figure out what all is going on and what they may have done.
  10. ~~Moved to CRBA, from IR1/CR1 P&P - the Op is asking about passports for a child born abroad.~~
  11. ~~Thread locked to further replies as the bickering back and forth has gone on long enough. The OP has been advised on possible steps to take. Nothing more can be said. This thread is not to be restarted in any shape or form.~~

  19. I'm so sorry about the bullying. If it happened off/after school times the school will most likely do nothing. The school more than likely will not give out the parents or child's information. Need to involve the police for this one. I'm am so very sorry about this and this might give you an idea of why Mini-B has been acting up. You need to find out how long this has been going on. The experience I have been through with the bullying with the Tornado is the school will do squat and it will continue. I hope things will be different for Mini-B's sake. It's the main reason we started homeschooling. Teachers and the administration are so afraid of the bullies parents or they have the excuse of well they have it so rough at home this is their only safe place. So they really don't do anything but maybe take away recess.
  20. Once you get your receipt you can try to get emergency AP, this is not the same as an expedite AP, but it would have to qualify as an emergency. You don't mention what the crisis back home is, but if there is a way that you can handle it from the US do that. Two years to be able to come back on a spousal visa would be rough and there is no guarantee you would be allowed to visit during that time.
  21. ~~Moved to Moving Here and YOur New LIfe, from Working and Traveling- as similar topics are discussed here.~~ ~~Duplicate thread, removed. PLease only start one thread for the same topic.~~
  22. I did go and tried not to watch the clock. Still took two hours to fall asleep. Was woken up to feed the dogs and listen to the Hillbilly make noise as much as he could.
  23. I'm in the other camp. Do not get vaccines you do not need. Get the titers test and go from there. Over vaccination is a real issue.
  24. ~~Moved to Moving Here and Your New Life, from K1 P&P- The OP is asking about college while AOS is in process~~
  25. Ok starting this thread for any and all cat tips. We adopted two 6 month old kittens a week ago. They are adjusting nicely, mostly confined to the Jedi's bedroom until all animals in the house adjust to each other. They get to roam the house when the dogs get crated at night and in the morning. So lets talk about cat litter for a minute It's been more than several years since I've had to deal with this. Older daughter was in charge of that herself. Her cats are now in her tiny home. Now the older daughter gave me a Scoop free automatic litter box. It used the fresh step crystals. Her munchkin cat does not like it. Now until the Jedi gets used to cleaning the box I am helping him. I also want to know everyone's choice of litter and if you used it for multi cat houses. Cleaning schedules length it last and the smells. We do not have a huge house so I don't want to be smelling it. I need to buy a lid for this one as the kitties are messy. So far just the one box as they only have access to the one room most of the day until the dogs chill out. Any other tips, from intro to the dogs? I have a gate up so they can all see each other. The kittens don't try to jump out when they know the dogs are running around. I'm letting the kittens round around when the dogs are away to get all the new kitty smells on things for the dogs. They are skittish, they have gotten better. They came from a foster who said they had a bad start. They are little purr boxes and love cuddles so I am assuming they are happy. Eating wet glop and drop kibble like crazy. We have a water fountain too and they love that. Picked up a nice cat condo in the market place for 20$. Cleaned it and they like it, also two other scratch post they use frequently. Ok picture of kitties for taxes
