You can keep your house and business going, but as a non resident. You will stop being a resident of Canada when you endorse your visa. The day you cross and get that stamp. Your Visa endorsement is your declaration that you are becoming a US resident. Very important to the US and keeping your GC. oOr Canada it is also your last day as a resident of Canada. You will mark this on your exit taxes too. Health benefits end at that time except for provinces like BC who you actually pay one month in advance. So you have the remainder of the time. Tax credits like baby bonus (not sure what they call it now) that come in monthly they end immediately. Along with the quarterly check that used to be the GST. Over the years members have continued to get those payments just to get a letter later that the government wants their money back and asap. Others did contact Revenue Canada to stop payments and still got them, which they had to return them after many calls to get that cleared up too. It's a hot mess. So in short you cannot be a resident of both Canada and the US.

Your daughter needs her own I-130 it would be best if she is petitioned at the same time as you. This process is not fast and it is even slower if you were to leave her behind to file for her later. She's lost a mother, being apart from her father for years can hurt her. Don't leave her behind.

It looks like we are talking about two different things. I don't remember getting something like that when my older kids where born. It might be new. I can't seem to see anything online about it either. The one I was thinking about looks like this. But if she is a week old I don't think it is this that you have.

You will not have to get all 3 doses before the interview. They just need to be started and up to date. So if he is ready for the second dose before the interview get it and bring proof. 3rd shot is 6 months after the 2nd and can be given stateside.

That is the long form birth certificate, it should be no issues with crossing.

It supposed to be the from the date of the medical exam. As others have mentioned, it can be less than 6 months from the medical though. It has happened many many times that is was much less than the normal 6 month. It is why they are saying to check the date on the visa. The CO could have given less time. The clock to get married starts ticking when your fiance enters the US. Where is your fiance now?

You can check with the Ask Emma like K1visahopeful suggested or call the USCIS Number when you get through to the person who picks up the phone you then have to ask to speak to the officer who has your case. I would wait to see if anyone knows where your daughter stands with citizenship. I don't know if K2's on entry get granted citizenship like CR2. Hopefully someone will be able to clarify it.

Since he couldn't pass on citizenship to his daughter at birth, did she become one when she entered on a K2?

They are looking at the wrong thing. They need to look at the stamp on or next to your visa. It will show a date of 1 yr from your entry.
