I reread that, you might be right.

Adoption needed to be finalized before 16. Are you married to the child's parent?

Sigh! Do what works with him. Once you find his currency you have it made. Seems you might have found it. Praising his good efforts like you do is also very good. Natural consequences are very good too. But Failing classes is a big one. For the Tornado it is losing her tablet. The Tornado doesn't do well with certain things. Like if I did what the MIL tried to tell me to do (toys not put away go in the garbage) the Tornado would say ok do it and state she doesn't play with them anymore anyway. That was when she was younger. I don't tend to threaten I just make her do it, it's a pain to be in there with her but it gets done. I'm positive she is ADHD, she can't unwind, she can't stop talking and so many more things that scream ADHD. SInce we homeschool it is no big deal I can work with her struggles.

Every time I have my adblock running I cannot use the multi quote option. As soon as I turn on the adblock the multi quote down on the bottom right pops right back up. Also my cursor disappears every single time on VJ and only on VJ. I have to randomly click around and hope it will pop back up on my chat box so I can use my arrow keys to move around my flashing (|) so I know where I am. THis has been going on for months and at first I thought is was just my computer, if it was then it would be the same thing everywhere I go.

Ok Multi quoting is not working for me the last few times I've tried to use it. Tbone I would have loved to have twins. It would have been one less pregnancy. But just not twins of the Tornado the other 5 would have been perfect. Those OB's should have been better with their money they made a killing off of me. As I mentioned before gaming addiction is a real issue with kids and adults. As mom of kids with learning disabilities you know much more early on then 7th grade. Mini-B has always been an exceptional student. Can there be something else going on learning disability wise, sure it's possible. I'm more certain that the attitude of 7th grade being sink or swim in school is what is really getting to him. They don't hand hold at all in 7th, they don't make it easy whatsoever. That is why they tell you 7th grade is the hardest year even way back to when I was a kid. I'm going to say unless you can get the ex Mrs-TB to listen and stick to no phone (calls only to the both of you) or games then it will just keep getting worse. He's clearly addicted to his games.

Congratulations. Good amount of time for twins. I kept OB's in business long enough. Poor baby. I always stuff pills in hotdogs. My dogs don't stop long enough to chew it. It goes straight down in one shot.

Depending on when the border guard did this (years ago pre 90's it was actually perfectly legal to do this), or other circumstances. Today entering with the intent to AOS is fraud and this can lead to a lifetime ban. Please do not do this. Also just a note for others, it would not be the first time border guards gave the wrong advice out. They have turned away many members telling them they cannot travel once their paperwork reaches NVC. We all know that is not correct but it happens.

Been sick the last few days. I feel worse today. Hopefully it won't be long lasting, head neck and face all hurt, not to mentioned I'm freezing cold too. Took HSM and a 3 hour nap. Must be sick if I can actually sleep.

We would not have this thread if it wasn't.

Do not buy tickets until visa is in hand. Montreal has been giving out the DS5535 like candy.

Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2023 -- post here
Ontarkie replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
The only really good deal was a cat subscription box that was doubling the toys and treats. The other was a gecko tank that was 50% off. We didn't need it just yet, but will soon enough and we have not seen deals like since we started keeping geckos. I was hoping Costco would have the really nice doggy beds on sale but nope they were overpriced as always. I'll go to HD tomorrow and get the 15$bed for the doggy. That or I may find him in my bed again. (He goes in my room and closes the door behind him ) -
Ok starting this thread for any and all cat tips. We adopted two 6 month old kittens a week ago. They are adjusting nicely, mostly confined to the Jedi's bedroom until all animals in the house adjust to each other. They get to roam the house when the dogs get crated at night and in the morning. So lets talk about cat litter for a minute It's been more than several years since I've had to deal with this. Older daughter was in charge of that herself. Her cats are now in her tiny home. Now the older daughter gave me a Scoop free automatic litter box. It used the fresh step crystals. Her munchkin cat does not like it. Now until the Jedi gets used to cleaning the box I am helping him. I also want to know everyone's choice of litter and if you used it for multi cat houses. Cleaning schedules length it last and the smells. We do not have a huge house so I don't want to be smelling it. I need to buy a lid for this one as the kitties are messy. So far just the one box as they only have access to the one room most of the day until the dogs chill out. Any other tips, from intro to the dogs? I have a gate up so they can all see each other. The kittens don't try to jump out when they know the dogs are running around. I'm letting the kittens round around when the dogs are away to get all the new kitty smells on things for the dogs. They are skittish, they have gotten better. They came from a foster who said they had a bad start. They are little purr boxes and love cuddles so I am assuming they are happy. Eating wet glop and drop kibble like crazy. We have a water fountain too and they love that. Picked up a nice cat condo in the market place for 20$. Cleaned it and they like it, also two other scratch post they use frequently. Ok picture of kitties for taxes
