  1. This is so sad that we have now entered our 3rd thread on this topic. Please stick to Montreal only DS5535
  2. ~~Related threads have been merged. Please do not start more than one thread for the same or similar topic.~~
  3. ~~Moved to ROC from K1 P&P - the OP is ROC not applying for a K1~~
  4. Quite honestly I really believe it is truly random. So many Canadian born with no travel or family in other countries are being given this form. There has been at least two members whose babies were under a year old even less than 6 months old get this form requested. While the rest of the family did not need to submit it.
  5. ~~Zombie thread locked to further replies. THe OP has not been back online in nearly 2 years. If you have questions please start your own thread.~~
  6. ~~One post removed for TOS Violation-, any further similar content will result in Admin action.- Condone or instruct, either directly or indirectly, others on how to commit fraudulent or illegal immigration activities in any way, shape, manner or method.~~
  7. ~~MOved to Site Related Discussion, from US Citizenship Discussion- the OP's questions site related.~~
  8. Fingers crossed he doesn't get the one year ban. I have a few ideas to help with migraines and his joint pain but it is out there and most ppl think it's nuts. Check out Dr Ken Berry on youtube and search for migraines after his name or joint pain.
  9. ~~Moved to Working and Traveling, from AOS from Work, Student and Tourist Visas- as the OP is asking about working with EAD~~
  10. ~~MOved to Immigrating outside the US, from US Citizenship General Discussion.~~
  11. ~~MOved to Taxes and Finances, form IR1/CR1 P&P - the topic is taxes.~~
  12. ~~Moved to ROC from AOS Family K1/K3 P&P - the OP is done with AOS and researching the ROC process~~
  13. Adding on to Crazy Cats advice. Option 1 is the best option. The medical is expiring when the visa expires the consulate will make her do the medical all over again. If and that is a big if they even want to re-issue the visa. High school graduation is not something that will most likely be seen as a reason to let it expire. They want a really good reason why she didn't or can't enter the US before the expiry date. I can't see graduation making that list.
  14. Also make sure the other parent gives the USC parent custody of the child or the child will not be able to get US citizenship. The child has to be in the father's legal custody for that.
  15. ~~Moved to the Regional forum, from IR1/CR1 Progress Reports- as requested by the OP.~~
  16. I am surprised they gave the option to have it done by a non approved doctor. We have seen members go through treatment for TB and were clear by that doctor. Only to have to redo 6 months of treatment by an approved doctor. The problem with trying for a waiver is they most likely will not release the medical without the treatment. No Medical no visa. Also even after successful treatment your mother will have to be retested in the US by you local health unit.
  17. ~~Moved to SSN, from AOS Family K1/K3 P&P- the OP is asking about the steps to a SSN~~ Mod Hat Off It is advised to get the SSN before getting married as some of the employees at the SS office are under the impression that marriage voids the visa and will deny the application. It really is not hard to go back later to update the card when you have your EAD or GC in your married name.
  18. ~~MOved to US Citizenship General Discussion, form Bringing Family of USC~~
  19. For covid you must be fully vaccinated. It cannot be just the first shot of the series for covid. Which is now 3 with the latest booster.
  20. You show up at the border and let them know you are endorsing your visa. There is no need to tell them you are turning around unless they ask. Then you just tell them what your plans are. Returning to get the rest of your stuff later and what ever else it is you need to wrap up.
  21. ~~Moved to Moving Here and Your New Life, form general Immigration Discussion- as similar threads are discussed here~~
