Sadly reporting something on the tip line doesn't go very far. You need to submit actual evidence. Get everything together to prove the forgery, send it to the consulate, send it to the fraud unit. I can't remember the actual name and how to get their attention to get it to the right department. @TBoneTX probably can help with that information. Once you send in hard proof that it was all a scam, send them proof of who he is married too and all the proof that marriage is still ongoing. Send everything you can think of to backup everything you know. They move slow so it can take years before anything happens. Talk to a lawyer and see what you need to do to clear that marriage since it is not a legal marriage.

They have them at Walmart now. Petsmart and I didn't check Petco. Yes you must hold onto the stick. Mine licked it a few times then went crunch and the pieces fell off the stick.

We bought the kitties these and they love them.

Ask how many years she was married when she entered the US. She may have been given the 2 yr green card in error. Then all she would need is to send in a correction form to have the 10yr card issued. She has plenty of years as a permanent resident to naturalize under the 5yr rule and can do this even if she leaves her husband. She should talk to a lawyer about custody and divorce. She should do that then when she can talk to an immigration lawyer to help her file Naturalization. But double and triple check how long she was married at the time she entered the US. If she's been married nearly 10yrs sounds like 4-5 yrs before the move, so no way should she have been given the 2yr card unless it was in error.

I made it Montreal Only as we did have members from other countries posting in there. It was causing some confusion. I forgot that some non immigrant visas are still processed in a few other locations in Canada. I should have said Canada. Feel free to jump on in.

Folks I understand the need to share your feelings and frustrations. That is what this thread is for, but this is a Montreal Only thread. I understand sharing information and gathering information with others. That is helpful, but do not derail this thread with discussing other countries AP(they have a thread), AOS'ing(there's a forum for that) and illegal actions of others(against the TOS). It is slippery slope we do not want to go down. Canada has its own forum for a reason. No other country has been down the crazy rules road Montreal has paved.

Make a list and mark the boxes. A general item description on the box and list is all that is needed. Such as cutlery, pots, dishes. If you are using a moving company they may want a more detailed list.

What does the K1 VISA Expiration Date Mean?
Ontarkie replied to Fiance1's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
The Expiration date is the date she must enter the US by. The 90 days do not start until the date she enters. -
~~Moved to the Canada forum, from IR1/CR1 - As similar threads are discussed here.~~ I would highly advise you to sell the house before you move. It can be a royal pain in the butt selling it after the move. Tax wise and such.

Ok starting this thread for any and all cat tips. We adopted two 6 month old kittens a week ago. They are adjusting nicely, mostly confined to the Jedi's bedroom until all animals in the house adjust to each other. They get to roam the house when the dogs get crated at night and in the morning. So lets talk about cat litter for a minute It's been more than several years since I've had to deal with this. Older daughter was in charge of that herself. Her cats are now in her tiny home. Now the older daughter gave me a Scoop free automatic litter box. It used the fresh step crystals. Her munchkin cat does not like it. Now until the Jedi gets used to cleaning the box I am helping him. I also want to know everyone's choice of litter and if you used it for multi cat houses. Cleaning schedules length it last and the smells. We do not have a huge house so I don't want to be smelling it. I need to buy a lid for this one as the kitties are messy. So far just the one box as they only have access to the one room most of the day until the dogs chill out. Any other tips, from intro to the dogs? I have a gate up so they can all see each other. The kittens don't try to jump out when they know the dogs are running around. I'm letting the kittens round around when the dogs are away to get all the new kitty smells on things for the dogs. They are skittish, they have gotten better. They came from a foster who said they had a bad start. They are little purr boxes and love cuddles so I am assuming they are happy. Eating wet glop and drop kibble like crazy. We have a water fountain too and they love that. Picked up a nice cat condo in the market place for 20$. Cleaned it and they like it, also two other scratch post they use frequently. Ok picture of kitties for taxes
