  1. We're going to the Reptile Expo in Arlington Texas tomorrow. WIll be gone all day and probably most of the night. We are going there and back the same day. It will be a crazy day but it is so much fun.
  2. Is there not a way to get it sent out to her country? Even if you have to bug them and call, it would still be faster then starting all over again.
  3. ~~MOved to What Visa DO I Need, from WOrking and Traveling- as the OP does not have any immigration process started.~~
  4. ~~Duplicate thread has been removed. PLease only start one thread on the same or related topic.~~
  5. She needs to have a talk with her parents. How do you register a birth a year earlier? Was this a late registration? Are you sure who the call came from? We have seen some scams calls before. Never like this one but I would make sure to talk to the parents.
  6. ~~One post split off a zombie thread. PLease do not post questions about your own case in other member's threads.~~
  7. Have you tried the non clumping at all? Trying to decide if I should go that way with the robot box.
  8. I will have to add it to my list of things to try.
  9. WEll I tried a 20lb second box of that Dr Elsie cat litter. It's supposed to be multi cat strength and last a month. I don't think I will even get 3 weeks out of it. Tomorrow it will be two weeks since I started the box. I had to mark it on the calendar as I didn't think it lasted very long the first time. I have some left but that might push it to week 3 if I'm lucky.
  10. First I want to say this probably will not work, but you can always try. Try asking to do DCF in her home country, it would keep the amount of time in her home country down by a lot. Does she already have a B visa? You said she had TPS when she left the US. I don't know if that is going to be another set of hurdles.
  11. Sadly in the US mothers are not really seen as needing help after the birth of a child. Heck you'll be lucky if the nurses in the hospital help much at all. It does truly suck to give birth in the US. (I know I'm not familiar with every hospital)
  12. ~~MOved to Effects of Major Family Changes, from AOS from K1/K3 - as similar threads are discussed here.~~
  13. ~~Thread locked to further replies. The OP has stated he is no longer posting~~
  14. That's right. I don't know why I always think they have to enter before 18 too.
  15. ~~MOved to Working and Traveling, from What Visa Do I Need - as the OP's father already has a GC.~~
  16. Perfect then no chance of them aging out. CR1 would be about the same processing time but ends with a green card much faster then the K1. A little less costly too.
  17. How much below 18? If 16 or 17 go for the K1. She would need to have sole custody or the father's consent.
  18. I'm not much help as the only kids who didn't have a learning disability didn't need help with their work. Heck it would be done before they even got home from school. They would do it on the bus ride home. He needs to ask his friends for help with his work. Shower wise tell him if he can get his bed out of bed and ot disturb you then fine. If he can't do it on his own then nope not happening.
  19. Not sure where you are but for around here they require proof of SNAP, medicare or medicaid to qualify. Look into what the forms ask for.
  20. ~~Moved to the REgional Forum, from US Citizenship General Discussion - as the topic is about Indian citizenship.~~
