  2. I'm so sorry for your loss. With them working it is more likely your soon to be ex may end up paying you. Go get a free or low cost consult with a lawyer, they can help you navigate things and may bill your ex their fee.
  3. What did the old threads say about it? Usually laminating government documents voids them.
  4. Yes there are many Places that can do on the spot marriage certificates. You will have to check to see where you live. As for the BC. What did you use to get the K1? It would be the same one you need for AOS.
  5. ~~Moved to Us Citizenship General Discussion, from IR1/CR1 P&P - the topic is about selective service requirement and the N400~~
  6. ~~Moved to Bringing Family of USC, from AOS from W,S&T Visas -as AOS is not an option for the OP.~~
  7. ~~Moved to Emigrating Outside the US, from US Citizenship Discussion - the OP is now a USC thinking about moving outside the US.~~
  8. ~~Thread is locked to further replies. The OP has clarified he is in the US and DCF is no longer an option. Please start a new thread in the IR1/CR1 P&P Forum for further questions.~~
  9. My daughter has one that needs two boxes. One to pee pee in and the other to stink up lol
  10. Ok So I'm not being overly crazy of a clean freak. Good to know, thanks. We still have chickens and I wouldn't want the cats out there. That would be just asking for trouble. I prefer they stay indoor cats.
  11. Mostly the smell. If I have to change the whole thing out weekly then it is not really working all that great. My two like the same box too. Because of the dogs we had to introduce them slowly so they ended up in my youngest's room. Litter box in the closet. So far the clay ones I've tried, claimed one box will last a month with two cats they do not. I managed to stretch it out to 3 weeks but even with daily cleaning it just stinks all the time. Your babies are adorable. Are they Devon Rex's?
  12. ~~As this thread has derailed and has turned to insult it is now locked to further replies. 9 Posts have been removed.~~
  13. I would like to add if you can get it expedited at USCIS level. You then have to get Montreal expedite. They are one of the hardest to get an expedite approved at. They almost never approve them. Plus the way they are handing out the DS 5535 another delay would probably jump out at you.
  14. Well I guess they can be a multi use toy
  15. After Dr Elsie clay I am back to crystals. Not sure I will try any more clay we shall see. Oh another note, if you haven't bought this Walmart toy it's a must!
  16. ~~Moved to Moving to the US and Your NEw Life, from IR1/CR1 P&P - as the OP is asking about entry and the shutdown.~~
  17. All major ports are well trained. THe only time I have seen any issues is at small ports at land crossings.
  18. Well according to Frankie and Grace or is that Grace and Frankie( TV show) You go get arrested.
  19. This is an IR1/CR1 thread and spreadsheet. Your parents fall under IR5. Check out this forum to see if there is one https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/111-bringing-family-members-of-us-citizens-to-america/ Here is one in our own Canada forum, but it's not very active. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/752211-any-ir-5-montreal-here/
  20. ~~Related threads merged. PLease do not start more than one thread for similar or related questions~~
  21. ~~Hijack post split of another member's thread. Please do not post questions about your own case in other member's threads.~~
  22. You're welcome. I only know what Gary did and posted about. I wish I could help more. Maybe read more what he did, although his situation was different as K2 kids need Advance Parole to be able to come back to the US without abandoning everything. He had to do an emergency AP so the oldest can get back to school quickly. But he may have discussed more what the steps are. If the re-entry permit must get biometrics done before she leaves you might be able to squeak in a walk in for the biometrics. I really don't know if they allow that anymore but it sure would not hurt to look into it.
  23. ~~15 posts have been split off to their own thread as they were derailing the OP's main question(s) in her other thread.~~
