  1. It looks like we are talking about two different things. I don't remember getting something like that when my older kids where born. It might be new. I can't seem to see anything online about it either. The one I was thinking about looks like this. But if she is a week old I don't think it is this that you have.

  3. You will not have to get all 3 doses before the interview. They just need to be started and up to date. So if he is ready for the second dose before the interview get it and bring proof. 3rd shot is 6 months after the 2nd and can be given stateside.
  4. That is the long form birth certificate, it should be no issues with crossing.

  6. I was talking to my sisters about this. My one sister and father got their passports back in less than 10 days.
  7. The short answer is yes, they can contact the Consulate/embassy and they can contact CBP.

  13. It supposed to be the from the date of the medical exam. As others have mentioned, it can be less than 6 months from the medical though. It has happened many many times that is was much less than the normal 6 month. It is why they are saying to check the date on the visa. The CO could have given less time. The clock to get married starts ticking when your fiance enters the US. Where is your fiance now?
  14. You can check with the Ask Emma like K1visahopeful suggested or call the USCIS Number when you get through to the person who picks up the phone you then have to ask to speak to the officer who has your case. I would wait to see if anyone knows where your daughter stands with citizenship. I don't know if K2's on entry get granted citizenship like CR2. Hopefully someone will be able to clarify it.
  15. Since he couldn't pass on citizenship to his daughter at birth, did she become one when she entered on a K2?
  16. They are looking at the wrong thing. They need to look at the stamp on or next to your visa. It will show a date of 1 yr from your entry.
  17. Have you check the status of your daughter's case? If I remember right the my kids cases showed online separate from mine. Once mine was approved theirs was next. We did get an RFE long after we all received our GC's so we ignore it. It drove me nuts for a very long time though. The fact that your wife got the RFE too makes me think you should call and speak to a tier two. Mostly because your daughter did not get her GC with mom. Definitely call and ask what is going on why the RFE for your wife after she has a GC and where is the daughter's card?
  18. After the baby is born your household size will have increased. They will want a new and updated AOS to show the change.
  19. ~~MOved to IR1/CR1 P&P - as the OP is asking about starting and IR2 or CR2~~ Has your wife received the interview date yet? File for the child asap. Once it is received you can ask if they can match it up to moms file. You're not asking for a expedite but asking if they can connect the two so they can interview together. This is usually best while the case is still at NVC but it may still work.
  20. Wish that was true, but it is not. They ask it from many Natural born Canadians, some with zero travel history outside of the US. Even babies are getting it.
  21. Most of the doctors do not offer vaccinations at the clinics. I think one office might. Does your wife not have any of her childhood vaccines? If so she may not need any. If there is any she does need they may mark them as not recommended and give her a waiver for them. X-rays will be needed nut they will protect the baby. She can even ask to be double shielded. If this risk is still too much for you both then delay the interview. Montreal will give her a 221g but with Montreal it can last a really long time. Plus she will have to wait until the baby's birth to get the medical then they will want a new AOS and you will need to get CRBA for baby. It will be less hassle to just delay the interview.
