Getting a B1/B2 visa to visit first cousin husband in Indiana
Ontarkie replied to umerr's topic in Tourist Visas
The thing is she needs to be honest during the interview. They will already know she was denied a J2 due to her being married to a first cousin. So when they ask, even if it gets that far why she wants a B2. She will need to tell the truth saying to visit her husband. After a denial of the J2 it will be very very difficult to get a B2. -
Cleaned the pool area of sticks and roscks. I swear the grow here, every year they keep popping up. Place the tarp back in place and set up the pool. I have very happy kids and very soaked. As soon as the wrinkles were out of the bottom they stated playing. Came in the house rested a bit and took down 7 gecko tanks and readjust the shelves. I needed to lower all the levels so I can add two more big tanks (18x18x24). Thankfully the tanks are not too heavy being full of stuff. Sat down to take a break just to find out the city's sneaky early election to pass another increase in millage tax was passed. NLR is the most taxed city in AR and schools still suck. You know one of the reasons for this tax is a fancy sport complex. Not even to pay teachers better a stupid sport complex. Sorry a sport complex is not going to fix these failing schools, heck building another school is not going to fix it either. But because this millage tax failed in November they did a special election to sneak it in. This is truly freaking nuts. Here is a quote from someone on our city page. It's discussing Six months ago 9920 voters said NO to this increase. Two days ago 1706 people reversed what a clear and overwhelming number of NLR voters declared to be the will of the people. Does that seem like a good way to conduct the business of our city or does it seem somewhat underhanded? Put the issue of what the vote was for aside and simply consider how this result was achieved. What if we handled all elections this way? Don't like the November results - run it again in May when the turnout is low and you get a better "pass" rate. Is this how you want our government to operate?

That is a tough one. You can either send in what you have and see if the person reviewing it notices you have all the required vaccines. Long shot, very long. Try to contact the clinic you did your K1 at and let them know they made an error on the form if they can fix it by marking it complete. Again a long shot but I would try. Try and correct the civil surgeon and hope for the best. Other than that it would be get the shot or try to find another civil surgeon which will be more money.

~~Moved to General Immigration Discussion, from IR1/CR1 P&P- the OP is done with the visa process and waiting on GC~~

You mentioned an IR1 visa for your husband and probably IR2 for your child. As mentioned by Jan22 your son is now a USC he just needs to get his passport. Your husband is allowed to work right now, if he came in on an IR1 visa. The stamp in his passport is his temporary card. If you decide to give up and move back to Peru he would give up his permanent residency. For your mom, she can come visit. Do not say help take care of your son as that would fall under babysitting and not allowed as a visitor. She can be a Grandmother and spoil and spend time with her grandchild. What she does during that time does not matter. But she cannot be a babysitter as that would be taking a job and not allowed. So on to your expenses. You are living in one of the most expensive places to live in the US. If once your husband finds work (once he gets his SSN) and things are still too tight. Looking into moving, the US a big country, there are so many places that the wages better match the cost of living. My son moved to Washington, because he was enticed by the wages there. Sadly being young and dumb he forgot the cost of living is at least 3 times the amount of living in Arkansas. He has to have roommates just to keep a roof over his head. Since you pretty much just got back to the US and the shock of the cost of living and wages just hit you. Take your time, once your spouse finds work, re-examine the costs and make a plan to either find a better paying job, or better job and location. Weather that means leaving the state you're in right now or just moving around in that state that works better for you.

Expired green card - Wanting to return

The biggest question would be how will you board a plane with an expired GC? -
In total Panick!! Please Advice
Ontarkie replied to WangJig's topic in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Your husband should have been served when she filed for divorce. He should know where it was filed. Your lawyer needs to earn his fee and find that divorce decree. I would be more worried that you were not informed of this divorce and how he did not submit the decree at the time of filling. -
Re-entering US by land from Canada on a tourist visa

Because of your comment here. It seems he already has his doubts or he wouldn't have gave that warning. -

Since she is already flagged I would not risk it, she's in the system. -
Yes, the hot tea just happens to be the worse of it.

It's too late now for this festival.

You would probably have better luck with the T-shirt.

Thanks Tbone, I'll pass on stocks. It really isn't much. Not enough for a savings account. Just stuff I made playing video games. I think you need to give up on dating sites. Don't know what sites you found but they sure suck. You're better off paying a psychic to ask her where to look at this point. Or have your friend WCG set you up with someone.

Divorce with my wife
Ontarkie replied to Samibra's topic in Effects of Major Family Changes on Immigration Benefits
~~Thread is locked to further replies and is not to be restarted in any shape or form. The OP needs competent legal advice. This is beyond the scope of VJ.~~ -
So if you had very little money to buy stocks in today's market what would you buy into? I know nothing of stocks but I was thinking maybe I should get some with the way it is now.

Divorce with my wife

She did not take them without his permission. They all traveled there together and he left his wife and kids there without him after the divorce. There is nothing for him to do. -

As both of you are US residents at the time of your divorce. I would say you need to speak with an attorney who is well versed with Muslim divorce. You are supposed to get divorce in your jurisdiction (the state you live in). I do not believe it would hold up in the US and you could still be legally married in the eyes of the USA.
