The I-129 F he was added on the application, also the DS-160 of course, but they both asked if my fiancé will be traveling with his son and we put no. When asked if his son will travel eventually on the DS-160, we put yes. I’m not sure if we did that wrong, but we figured that was the best answer since he will be sending for him later.

Same thing here . I’m waiting for a response . And I put his sons name on the application but his son is in the states already .So they basically had two cases . I called and repeatedly told them the son is in the States . I put  both our children’s name on their because they asked . And August 1st they finall closed the sons case and I called and be patient were still working . So frustrating!!!  (Just saw the convo and decided to join in ! )

Ohhh okay thank you...  also what type of evidence did you send along with your 129F? Because i have pictures && airplane tickets... i want to send screenshots of our what’s app conversations but idk if that’ll be enough to send.

You can export your what’s app conversations and have your fiancé  print them  . Good luck . I’m still waiting waiting on an answer .

Guys, quick question for anyone who's had the interview already:

During your interview, did they have the original I-129F packet you had prepared initially?

I am currently putting together the proof of our relationship likes pics & whatsapp chats, but I had already sent most of that with the I-129F packet.

Yes they had the original . You can bring more photos recent ones , chats emails and etc . For my dual interview he did not want to take anything from me ( when the embassy requested the the Petioner be present for another interview with beneficiary ) .

We have the same situation but I am a February filer and I am also scared of something happening. How long ago was the previous k1 and was it denied? I am so worried we want to be together and it is stressful somebody can decide that but I understand the process and pray for you and us as well. I have read of others In this situation who got approved but not from Haiti

Yes . My previous was approved . Yes same here all we can do is pray . But it’s suppose to be the US embassy  in Haiti you would think it would be some kind of order. I filled in September 2017 . Let’s hope for the best so we can be with our loved ones .

  5. So still no response ! Waiting to know if  we’re approved or not . It’s way past the two weeks that they told us we would get a response . Called  the embassy . I keep getting transferred or hung up on . I literally hear the phone get picked up and hung up . Frustrating , any ideas ?? Went to a dual interview for k1 visa ( my fiancé’s second but first for me ) and the person interviewing us said that in two weeks we would know . Well it’s way past that .

Nessa - this sounds dreadful. We haven't gotten to the interview stage and I certainly hope to not run into such a situation. I hope that you get a positive resolution soon. Have you tried calling to follow up? The menu is frustrating but eventually you can get through to a person.

Yes I called several times . Same result be patient , wait and someone will contact  your fiancé ( in Haiti ) . At the end of our interview he said we would get a response in two weeks . We are past that . It’s like I’m at edge of seat !!! Let me know  .. I was hoping I could get some one who went through this . I haven’t found anyone yet .

You'll rarely find someone who shares your same experience. What I can say is that I understand how you feel. Your trying to get through this process and every step of the way something pops up that slows you done. With this CO he has an attitude. When someone like that has something you want, in your case the visa, they have the final say. They can make it easy or they can put it on the bottom stack of their work and control you by dragging this out. Arguing or getting perturbed with someone like that gets you nowhere. There is an old saying he who has the gold makes the rules.

Now one of you need to get on the phone to the Embassy and try and get an answer. Be pleasant and your inquiry will go much smoother. I know you can do this. Let us know how you are progressing.

Thank you . And yes , I just ignored the attitude and answered the questions . And we call but still no answer . So just waiting really . Thank you .
