Hello Family, I submitted my application to USCIS VAWA center for advance parole and work authorization together in March 2024. In April 2024, I received a receipt for the advance parole application, but I have not received a receipt for the work authorization application since then. Could you please provide any advice on what steps I can take to address this issue? Thank you for your assistance.

Hello Family, I’m an October 2018 VAWA filer, I went to the USCIS field office on Wednesday to request Emergency Advance Parole to attend my mother's burial ceremony in my home country. The officer asked for all supporting documents, including the death certificate. I informed him that I had it in my car, and he allowed me to retrieve it. After returning with the certificate, he called his supervisor. She told me they needed a second verification outside of a government ID and required me to do fingerprinting and photo capturing in the office, which she completed for me. After that, I went back to the initial officer, who informed me that he would expedite the I-131 I submitted in April. He asked me to write my home address on a piece of paper. Additionally, USCIS told the Congressperson in March, 2024 that my VAWA case is still in the background check stage. What do you think about my VAWA and the EAP, family?

Hello family, I am October2018 VAWA filler. Both applications for the renewal of Advance Parole and Work Authorization Permit were sent together in one envelope to USCIS Vermont Service Center, 38 River Road, Essex Junction, VT 05479 and were received by USCIS on April 26, 2024. Today, I received the receipt notice for my Advance Parole application only, which included the case number. However, I have not yet received the receipt notice for my work authorization application. It’s this normal OR When do you think I will get the receipt for work authorization OR what do I need to do ? Thank you for your assistance.

Hello Family, I went to Identogo office today and I don't know which of the follow I need to do. Do I need to do 4 out of it. Digital Fingerprinting , State History check, FBI History check and Fingerprint Card ? How do I send it to USCIS, hardcopy or email ?

Thanks Sandra, I think number 2 ( Emergencies) is my point because It's Emergency for me to attend the funereal of my father who died on March 22, 2024. What I have now as supporting documents is Burial arrangement flyer. What else do I need to add to the application to expedite the process ?
