Our Story
We met in January of 2006 when I was a Missionary's Assistant and he was studying to be a missionary/pastor in El Salvador. We became friends and in July finally told each other our true feelings. In August he moved back to Nicaragua and the long-distance relationship began. First, long emails then long emails & phone calls. On October 11 he asked me to marry him via email & phone after I simply asked if we got married could we do it in the states :) The long distance got longer when I moved back to the US at the end of October. In November I went to Nicaragua for a month to be with him and meet his family. We both cried the day I left and the long emails & calls resumed in the wait for the visa. He was granted a K1 visa in May '07 and moved to Texas on June 3, 07. We have been married since June 30, 07 and have 2 beautiful kids boy (4) and girl (1).
Any way I can help, even though I know every embassy is different thought it might ease some stress. And thanks for the well wishes for the interview. God Bless!!!
