  1. There are simple things you can do:

Add her to your life insurance . . . if you don't have get it.

Add her to your bank account . . .  banks vary.  I was able to add her to my credit union and a smaller bank account.  Was't able to add her to my Chase account.

Add her to a credit card account . . . again this varies.  Easy to add online to Capital One, hard to do with Chase and Citibank.

Add her name to your apartment lease etc

Add her name to an utility account/  I added her to my cable bill.

As others have pointed out since you have been married for two years you should have put her on you taxes.

Or just hire an attorney and they can tell you what to do.

  2. Just do what you can to support your fiance.  I drove 4 hours each way once or twice I week to spend as much time with my wife while we were doing the spousal visa.  She moved from the Philippines to Mexico to be closer so I did what I could to be with her.   We still texted and video chatted all we could.  Before you know it they will be here.

  3. Since the marriage didn't occur no one is married. The first woman isn't married and can apply for a US Visa as a single woman.   Your current fiance does not need to say anything about your previous application for a marriage license.   If you are worried about it coming up go to Juarez with your fiance in case to CO has a question.

This time I hope you are sure about this girl from Mexico.

    Buena Suerte

I’ve already waited for 12 weeks since NOA2 but nothing yet from NVC. I don’t know if it is true that one has to call NVC to get your case number. Or if someone could tell me if it is true that if ur wait is long enough they eventually will contact you and send u case number.

Call and ask for the case number.   If this is for a CR1 and since it has been 12 weeks so I would have expected to hear something.

That is odd, meds generally speaking are cheaper everywhere else. Many people get their meds from Canada etc because of this.

Generics and off patent are cheaper.  Orphan, high costs and biologics are more in Mexico.  I have two that I use that cost more in Mexico.  One is $500 in Mexico for a months supply versus $40 in the US with insurance.

I know flying every 6 months they can also continue to give me the temporary one as long as I leave before those 6 months is up.

That is using the tourist visa.    Think of it just like the B1/B2 visa in the US.  You need either the RT (temporary) or RP (Permanent) visa to "live" there. You should be able to get the RP based on your marriage.   You'll be eligible to get a refund of the tourist fee on plane tickets.  You do need to apply for the VISA before you go to Mexico. It is a foil that is similar to the US Tourist visa.  Once you get into Mexico you file for the green card. My wife got her card in about six weeks.

You can also get a driver's license so you are legal to drive there.

Another thing is I would have to be stuck being a housewife for the first 2 years unless I had a job going over there which my job is not willing to let me transfer.

I am a USC and also have Mexican Permanent Residency.   I married a Filipina and we decided to wait out a spousal visa application in Mexico.  She was given a Mexican Permanent Residence and Green Card five hours after applying.  See was offered a few jobs there.  Since you are married you should at least qualify for Temporary, if not Permanent, residence if you wanted to live there..  You could rent out your house in the meantime.

i imagine that is already a negative factor

Definitely not a negative factor for us.   They asked for her residence card and we also had her Mexican Driver's license.  You just need to make sure you have the state Police Clearance if she has been in country for more than 6 months.  My wife was just under 6 months so I included here stamped entry slip into Mexico with our packet.

I found her documents so she received 5 year ban for staying over 9 months and 28 days. This was in 2014.

Do you have the citation that part of her refusal of entry?  That would help to determine what the options are.

There is also Permission to Reapply.

I guess worst case is to send in the NVC documents then see what refusal is giver at the interview.
