You need to show concrete plans to re-establish it.  If you haven't been filing US tax returns, and are required tom you should take care of that ASAP.   You can move and re establish your domicile before the interview if you want.

I first received my case number in March 2020 and I was then Documentarily Qualified in June 2021. They then emailed me with an interview date September 2021 (yesterday). 17 months from receiving my first case number and getting an interview.

None if this applies to a DCF Case,  DQ is for USCIS stateside processing that is passed on the NVC.  DCF does not go to NVC.   DCF sets their own interview date via the website.   DCF doesn't take 17 months unless it is slowed down by petitioner.

Contact the consulate.  Chances are it isn't coded correctly.   They can also set the date for you.   It might take a few calls to find someone who understands it.

Slightly complicated - Dual Nationality (US / Chinese) isn't allowed post 1997 per PRC.  So the child isn't Chinese. Since the child wasn't born in Hong Kong (and doesn't / hasn't / won't live there for 7 years) there is not right to abode.

This really isn't an issue in Mexico. Ours cases were similar when it comes to religion.  Religion is more of an issue in Islamic majority countries and not in (Roman) Catholic countries.  The issue also comes up where there are certain customs / familial expectations.  None of that applies to Mexico.  It wasn't asked at our interview (yes I got called in too) nor at any of the interviews that I have helped people prep for at CDJ.  The fact that you have been living together for so long speaks very highly in having a successful outcome, in addition to clearing the I-601 hurdle he had. 

The only question that Mary wasn't expecting was if we were planning on having kids and that was most likely due to our age gap.  And it also came up in our ROC last week.

Not an issue for Mexico.  It wasn't asked at our interview.

I've always used priority mail envelope, padded envelope ( you have to order these ahead of time for free) or medium boxes for filings.  No need to pay extra for express.   You can also use a regular 9x12 envelope and pay for tracking.

This is "Proof of Domicile".  Include your plans for living arrangements as well - this shows you intend to re-establish your domicile.  Everything else you mentioned can be used to attempt to expedite the process,

Once USCIS has the petition it is processed stateside.   There is no path to change to consular processing. You can run the chance of withdrawing your petition and asking London for a DCF.

You only need to be married and have legal residence in France to file along with meeting the Exceptional Circumstances requirement. We filed ours about 3 and a half months after getting married and the day after her permanent resident card for Mexico arrived.

You need to take your naturalization certificate and a copy, the green cards and copies, the kids and your spouse to the post office that does passport acceptance or a US passport acceptance office / agency.  I thought I saw at Post Office where they didn't keep the NC but @arken may be correct that those will be sent and returned separately.   Having it done this way, instead of mailing it in, makes sure that the documents are recorded correctly on the transmittal and one won't come back due to not having the NC,

Of course it was not approved.  Once you overstay you can not get ESTA back regardless of a ban.  Others said that.  Your only option is a B1/B2.  Take proof of the conference, and that it is job related, and maybe they will look at it.  They are not required to look at anything you bring in.

How long was the overstay? Were you deportred? If it was over a year it could be a lifetime bar.

You can do them simultaneously.  If you do it at the post office then it doesn't matter if the applications get split up (and you won't get your naturalization certificate back with a bunch of staples in it).  Take the green cards and copies to the post office.  You will be handed back all of the originals.

Yup - i guess I had a flash back to the "old days" of quick in/out at NVC for K1.  And with Mexico it is more like a year even though they are now doing K1s in Mexico City too

They are out of status.  I always recommend using a check(s) and filing as soon as possible in case there are any errors.  You pay for each on seperately.

Did you get an NOA-2 yet?  It isn't on you timeline.

Your petition is sitting in a pile that hasn't been reviewed.   USCIS is understaffed since it operates on the fees that we pay and those fees have not been allowed to increase to keep up with the demand and costs.   Once you have passed the processing times for WAC you can open an inquiry to get it moving along.

The NVC has nothing to do with it until USCIS approves the petition at which time you will receive an NOA-2 from USCIS and a letter about a month later from NVC.  Then you have to wait for an appointment it CDJ, which has the same financial issues.

i don't think you do again but check with the school's DSO.

They can't just send it to London.   You could withdraw and try to file in London.   No guarantee that London will accept it. 

You need to ask USCIS to expedite, then ask the NVC to expedite.   

I would have thought they would have you doo a SB-1.  You can't apply for a re-entry permit overseas.
