  6. Hi, so moved to USA in June 2024. Our 100+ year old house that we bought to refurb was due to complete sale but the buyers pulled out due to a horrific inspection/survey that came back with numerous problems which puts buyers off. Extremely stressful considering we have thrown alot of money at rogue builders. I need to go back to the UK to work to fix these issues once and for all otherwise the only way we can sell the house is at auction and could stand to loose 50-60k of our life's savings. I am applying for re-entry permit, for Part 3, 'Where should the notice to pick up the travel document be sent?' (Separate to choosing i will pick up and UK consulate) Is it ok to put UK address for this? I have put my permanent physical address in the US for part 1 but would like the notice to pick up reentry permit to be sent to me in the UK as that is where i will be? thanks
  7. I really wish you would stop trolling every post I make with talk about these bloody agencies it’s driving me crazy, I can never keep any of my posts on topic manyfudge 😩
  8. I know about those, they always get denied at US embassies abroad, those are the unpublished facts and people lose that money x
  9. So husband and I have immigrated to the United States after an approved EB3 Visa we’ve been together for 23 years, 22 year old daughter, married since 2017. I feel strong enough for divorce now. It breaks my heart as I wanted it to work for years and years, its unrequited love and unreciprocated respect, my question is how will it affect me? Thank you
  10. Also, I have read it’s okay to leave and then come back for the re-biometrics. Please could you kindly tell me where I could leave a note to ask them to reuse the biometrics because we didn’t do it online it was paper-based
  11. Thank you for reply, so we didn’t do the re-entry permit online so I don’t think I will get it online? So do you think she can’t leave for her flight today?
  12. Hello, have applied for re-entry permit for daughter as she has to finish off 18 months of a degree started before we immigrated Could you kindly tell me if this is the actual notice of receipt and she is now good to travel as she wants to book her flight for today? thank you
  13. Guys, so now we’ve got the student loan part covered. She is going to open a bank account in the US, we will put her name on the rental agreement in the USA to do everything to prove ties, file tax returns et cetera, when it comes to her Canadian driving licence, would she have to give this up? Obviously applying for re-entry permit, but don’t international students that apply for re-entry permit to get a license in another country? your help is so greatly appreciated, my thought processes are continually interrupted during my day from all the people I look after I get zero contemplation time Thank you
  14. Right I have an update, I tell you I have been on my knees these past few days, and the last thing I needed to be doing is personal care and chatting to the elderly about knitting, I’ve been so stressed. I think I can now relax. anyway! I have just called the student loan Alberta, and they have said if she changes her status with the University from resident to non-resident, it will be fine she will still be covered for her student loan, but as an international student, so basically she still gets her student loan. No, my next hurdle is to work out how we go about her listing as non-resident for Alberta health care 🥴 thank you to all that are helping me through this. I am working 15 hours shifts and it’s incredible hard.
