I only knew about the interview because I logged in to the system and saw the invitation in documents. The hard copy I never received until today.
It was actually delivered today, 3 days after I got my citizenship. It took usps 1 month to deliver the Interview notice since it was mailed on 12/14.
so make sure you check your profile with uscis. Luckily, I did. :)

    I check like 5 times a day 😂😂😂

    Hi everyone!

I had my interview today! It was only me (no spouses allowed inside). I arrived 15 minutes early and after going through security, I checked in with an officer who entered my information to a computer, put a stamp on my interview NOA and then sent me to the second floor (Denver office). I sat for three minutes and an officer came to look for me.

The interview was very straightforward, first he asked for documents to check that my marriage was still going (I provided bank statements, home insurance and mortgage).

Then, he did the 6/10 test, the English test on a tablet (one question for reading and one for writing). Then, he went through the application questions and requested clarification on two minor things. After that, he said he would recommend me for Naturalization and asked if I wanted to become a citizen today, so I said yes.

He gave the Oath of Allegiance, I signed a couple of forms and he asked me to go out to the waiting room so he could go and get my certificate. I waited for a minute and he came out with my certificate, some paperwork (to explain how to apply for a passport, change social security, etc) and a cute US flag.

He congratulated me and I was gone in 30 minutes.

    I'm now a US Citizen!

Good luck to all of you who are still in the process. May 2021 be the year for you to also become US Citizens.

    All the best.

    Congrats !!

  6. So after e-mailing them to check if theyre going to schedule an appointment for the interview..this was their response. lol

Thank you for your inquiry dated November 12, 2020.

I logged in and saw this (not realizing what it was) and got excited thinking it was an update to my case. And then I actually read it, looked below and saw my status hadn't changed and was disappointed.

My case completion estimate still says December 2020. Fingers crossed it doesn't get extended again, but I'm not hopeful.

haha thats what i thought when i logged on the site couple of days ago,  my case went from 5 months to 10 on November 12th after i completed biometrics lol.

  8. USCIS has revised the civics portion of the naturalization test
Applicants with a “filing” date (also known as received date) on or after December 1, 2020, will take the 2020 version of the civics test.  Applicants with a “filing” date before this date will take the 2008 version of the test.  For more information and study materials, please visit the Citizenship Resource Center at uscis.gov/citizenship.

Good news! I just received a message saying that my interview has been scheduled! I don't know for what date, I have to wait until tomorrow for them to upload the NOA to My USCIS account or wait to receive the notification in the mail. I will update you all when I know the date. As a reminder, my local office is Denver, CO.

@ShpatBeqa since we had the biometrics appointment the same day, have you received any updates today?

Congrats !! Thats great news...no i have not but as soon as i do ill update you.

    Hopefully soon though.

Mine went smoothly as well. They returned the NOA for the appointment with the stamp and I received an email from USCIS a few minutes later saying they are actively working on my case now.

    One step closer!

Nothing updated on the USCIS page but i checked on the CASE TRACKER APP, and it says that they're "ACTIVELY reviewing my n-400 form" you get something similar to this?

I don't know first hand because I also have my appointment tomorrow. Fortunately, I did receive my original letter in the mail; even though it took longer than usual to arrive.

However, I've read that it's OK to bring the downloaded letter. Let us know how it goes! Good luck :)

Just got done with the biometrics everything went smooth, hopefully your appointment went well. Now we wait for the interview..hopefully december.
