I love to read and travel. I love animals (I grew up on a farm). Culture is one of my biggest interests, I really enjoy learning about people all over the world. I really enjoy music ranging from country to R&B.

Our Story
I started talking to my Elochukwu in April of 2005. He was in Ukraine studying medicine and I am in Jefferson City, studying at Lincoln Univeristy at the time of our getting to know eachother. We met through a friend and for the first month we e-mailed back and forth. In the second month, I started calling him. In August, I packed up my things and went to see him in Ukraine. I had never flown, nor did I know what to expect, but I knew that I loved this man. I grew nervous while on the plane. I was full of ambition and hope though. I remember the first words that I spoke when I saw him "Oh my God!", (he still teases me about this). I was in Ukriane for 8 days, I was almost stranded there. I spent every last penny I had to get to the love of my life. I stayed in his hostel and we fought off the mosquitos. I was only with Elo for 8 days. As we loaded into the taxi to go back to the airport, we looked at each other, it was as if we knew that there was no going back, I was leaving. We were crying knowing there was nothing to be done right then. It was in that taxi that he asked me to marry him. We composed ourselves, but when it was time for me to board the plane in Kiev, we were crying again. I was sobbing so hard, that the security people would not let me board. I love Elochukwu very much, he has since gone back home to Nigeria. We speak everyday. This is my story.
