  1. If your only tickets were for parking violations (that is, things like staying too long at a parking meter or parking your car in a red zone), you don't even need to mention these on Form N-400. But for any violation where you were behind the wheel, or your motor was running, your best bet is to mention it. Source: https://www.gardnerandmendoza.com/traffic-tickets-immigration/
  2. Yeah but you have your interview date and your spouse doesn't? That would explain why you have different timelines. Like your spouse, mine is also showing 7 months, because I don't have my interview yet
  3. Every single person gets the same timeline. It’s based on how fast 80% of the cases in your category hear back
  4. I uploaded my most recent tax transcript for 2023 on April 1, still waiting on an interview, filed on 02/20
  5. Maybe, I have the feeling it’s all random and the system is automated 😂
  6. Uploading it now or taking it to the interview won't delay anything. Even if you upload the extra evidence now it still won't delay it. I doubt any of the extra stuff isn't reviewed until the actual interview itself.
  7. There is no way for you to know what the status of your application is or whether or not background checks are pending. No one is going to give you that information. Plus, you filed on 02/07, that was pretty recently. Nothing about your application is outside of normal processing times. Would just try to stay patient. You'll hear back soon for an interview.
  8. You can still submit it online or take it with you to the interview When did they do that? I submitted on 2/20 and it wasn't there then. I submitted the evidence anyway though
  9. No, not rationale at all. Completely random. Although, some FOs are faster than others.
  10. Congrats, I hope I get my interview soon. You and I have the same PR anniversary, mine is also May 17th. I filed on 02/20
  11. Yeah I suppose the issue becomes if the IO asks you a question and you look at him/her like you don’t know what he or she is saying. Then they will ask you if you understand the questions.
  12. Why did you fail it? From what you’re typing here your English is excellent! Best of luck
  13. No one will test you on the definition of these words, but it's important you know what they mean so that you can answer the questions truthfully!
  14. You would need to add the timeline to your own profile, not directly there.
  15. Why would the officer ask you to explain the application itself to him? No one is going to ask you the definition of the questions on the N-400. They will go over your application with you and confirm that you haven't committed crimes, been imprisoned, broken the law, etc. You will need to answer either yes/no or in some cases provide a brief explanation where applicable.
  16. Hi All, Don't forget there are also timelines to track N400 cases, you can edit the FO at the bottom of the page to your one. I have been using it and find it quite useful. VisaJourney N-400 Timelines It's also helpful if you add your case to the timeline to benefit other people and yourself!
  17. Yup, I am thinking a lottttt of us are all going to start hearing about interviews in the next 2-4 weeks
  18. When did you file again? A lot of people receive an interview letter around 66-70 days after filing their N-400. Hope this helps!
  19. Just take one copy. If you’ve uploaded the documents to the USCIS website you’re fine just taking originals too. They should have the copies on file.
