  1. Wow congrats. Did they ask for any documents? Also did they mention the wait times for the oath ceremony for name change?
  2. Wow that was quick. Are you filing under the 90 day early filing?
  3. My first N400 got denied for no fault of my own, but anyway first time around I applied in NYC. I waited 3 months for an interview. Filed application on 07/01/22 and got an interview for 10/13/22.
  4. Wow congrats. That was quick? Did you file under the 90 day early filing? And what is your field office?
  5. I’ll be happy if I can finish my process by elections in November
  6. 1. You can upload the tax transcripts for good measure, a lot of people do and I would recommend it. 2. They will use the same photo you took with the original biometrics. I believe it’s the photo on your current Green Card (although not 100% sure so don’t quote me on this) 3. I would not request an alternate oath. Usually you have to have an emergency or valid reason to reschedule any USCIS event, Oath included. I know a woman who was unable to attend the oath because she was heavily pregnant, and she must have waited around 7-8months to get a rescheduled date.. if you ask to be rescheduled, your case goes to the back of the list again.
  7. True - sometimes people take longer to hear back from less busy offices. did you file under the 90 day early filing rule?
  8. Wow that was quick! Congrats. What’s the field office? That’s what I’m thinking. It was around 10pm EST that I filed so I’m thinking it registered it for the next day.
  9. Yes a lot of people do it on the same day and they were approved with no issues.
  10. And your earliest filing date is 03/03/24 correct? and you filed the next day?
  11. Hi guys, quick question. My Earliest Accepted Filing Date is: 02/17/ 2024 I filed my application at night on 02/19/2024, but all the notices I received are dated 02/20/2024. Both the receipt notice and biometrics reuse are dated 02/20/2024. Does that mean that my filing date for the N400 is 02/20 rather than 02/19 (when I actually filed). Just curious. Thank you
  12. I would wait 24-48 hours to file just to make sure that your application isn't submitted too early.
  13. It will not be an issue, and even if you had forgotten to upload it altogether it would have no impact on the timeliness that your interview is scheduled. If you had not uploaded a certificate at all, that might have been an issue. Just bring a copy with you to your interview as well, and again no big deal.
  14. Congrats, did you file uder the 90 day early filing? What is your Field Office?
  15. It won’t ask for a code if you’ve just logged on a couple hours before that from the same device. If you’re using a new device it usually asks for a code, or if it’s the same device it’ll ask after several hours of inactivity
  16. I submitted my application on 02/19 evening at around 10PM EST and all documents show that I submitted my application on February 20, which would be the next day (even though it was submitted on the 19th) So it looks like they have fixed that issue where people were applying on time, but having their applications rejected a couple years ago for filing too early I still agree that everyone should just wait at least 24 to 48 hours before filing just to make sure that nothing goes wrong for a silly reason.
  17. My residence since date is 05/17/19. I was eligible 02/17/24 earliest filing date. I filed my application on 02/19/24 but it was at night time around 10PM EST so the paperwork acknowledges the submission date as 02/20/24.
  18. I had an issue where my resident since date on my GC was incorrect, and I never filed an I-90 to have it corrected. I wanted to know if this would cause issues or a potential denial of my N400 because I never filed to have my GC corrected. The immigration attorney told me "it's too late to file an I90 so just call the USCIS and put in a service request to get the date changed" I was so confused??? Anyway I was informed here that I90 is the only route to making changes on a GC if I wanted to file that.
  19. Some attorneys are absolutely terrible. A friend of mine is an immigration attorney, and I’ve asked for advice a couple of times before and gotten such terrible responses that I stopped asking altogether. Hope you got money back from that lawyer that messed up your case!
  20. I think that person had their green card 9 years, not sure why they’re stressing
  21. It does that for everyone once you get a biometrics reuse
  22. If it's not a combo interview then you're more than prepared with all the evidence you're bringing. Good luck keep us updated on how it goes for you
  23. Seems like you’re more prepared than most people and have everything you need. Don’t forget your drivers license as well. Is it a combo interview?
