Hi all,
just wanted to share the information I learned today. After going to the police station on Prince-Arthur, finding it closed and trekking to the one on Rachel through the sludge and snow, I got a sheet of paper from the officer in charge from where I could get my finger prints taken, because they don't do it anymore. I have to apply for a police certificate in Zimbabwe and they require a fingerprints but I assume it will be the same of you have to apply for the RCMP police clearance. The addresses are as follows:
Bureau d'Empreintes Digitales International du Canada
Address: Complexe Guy - Favreau, 200 Boul Rene - Levesque. Suite 12a, Montreal, Quebec
Telephone: 514 285-2246
Open: Monday - Friday, 9 - 16, Saturday, 10 - 15
Identification Canada
Address: 4060, rue Ste - Catherine Ouest, Suite 525, Westmount, Quebec
Telephone: 514 934-2244
Open: Monday - Friday. 8 - 19, Saturday, 10 - 14
PWE
Address: 4480, Ch. de la Cote-de-Liesse, Suite 110, Mont-Royal, Quebec
Telephone: 514 733-8571
Open: Monday - Friday, 9 - 17, or by appointment
Costs seem to vary by task, I paid $25 for just getting fingerprinted. I hope somebody can save themselves a trip to the police station if they need to have fingerprints done. I went to the first one after they did not pick up the phone 2x. There were a few people in line, but it took less than 5 minutes.
