  1. Thank you, I will do that this week. I hope the response will be good. thank you again.
  2. Hello Family, I hope everyone is doing well, My VAWA was approved MARCH 28TH 2022, MY I-485 moved to nbc in September 2022 and they issued the Deficiency for medical in September 2022. it just stated that medicals are missing and I don't have to do anything, they either request them to be sent In or ask them at interview. since it has moved to NBC in September, there hasn't been any update on the case, it's been 6 months already. anybody in same boat or perhaps know what should I do or just wait? I was under the impression once it is at nbc, it will take less time.
  3. Thank you, I will do that too, I was gonna wait but lawyer said, it won't be an issue now fingers crossed. I hope that won't be the case. I do understand now what you mean.Thank you
  4. Thank you, I will wait then. It was RFE but just for the deficiency, they didn't ask for medicals to be sent in but I was going out of country my lawyer suggested to send in the medicals before I leave. I hope that won't cause any issue and perhaps help the process.
  5. Hello Family, I hope everyone is doing well, just wanted to update, I traveled second time on Travel document this year for a month came back last week, There was no issue at all at the airpot, the officers were nice, just had me sit for few minutes and then stamped the passport. My VAWA was approved March 2022, Then I-485 moved from Vermont to NBC in September, then in October I recieved a medical deficiency notice on October 5th 2022. My lawyer and I sent the medicals on December 22, 2022. There is no update on I-485 except it shows that the case was transferred on 16 September for faster processing. Is there anything I should do? anyone know how much longer it's going to take? Should I inquire through congressman next week? Any insight will really be appreciated. Thank you family.
  6. Thank you. I appreciate the insight. It really helps the anxiety to calm down a little bit.
  7. Sorry, I meant to write Deficiency notice for medical. it said, on the initial review, we noticed that medical was not submitted with original petition, so you will either need to bring it at interview or we will ask for it, there is no need to do anything at the moment.
  8. Hello Family, I hope everyone is doing alright. I have couple question, I had my combo card approved March 11-2022 and then Vawa approved in May 2022. I travelled on Combo card for a month April-2022 to May 2022. do you think it would be alright to travel again for a month, January 08-2023 to Feb 14 2023, before the expiration or should I wait for my I-485, which shows case was transferred to NBC on September 16-2022 then a they issued a defiance notice on October 5th 2022, I have not applied for renewal of travel documents yet. Any suggestion would really help. thank you
  9. Thank you and If I recall your field office was NYC but mine is Houston Texas. Thank you for the kind words. but do you think traveling on traveling documents second time, would that be okay? since it's going to expire in May 2023
  10. Hello Family, It's been 8 months since my Vawa was approved. I received the letter in May 2022, which said VAWA was approved on 28 March 2022 after that, I got notification that case was transferred to NBC September 16 and recieved Deficiency notice on October 5th, 2022. I haven't heard anything else yet. I tried to do an inquire through Senator yesterday but they said Vawa is taking about a year or so and it hasn't been long since the Vawa was approved, so they can not send an inquire yet. I spoke with my lawyer and he said we should send the medical in coming weeks? Can anyone guide me, if it will be okay to send in the medical as the lawyer said, before getting any RFE or interview notice? or is that gonna be an issue.? any suggestion will really help. 2nd, I had Combo card approved in March 2022, I traveled for a month in April and came back in May, is it gonna be ok to travel again on Travel document in January 2023 or would that be an issue ? Thank you
  11. I am just trying to give it specifics months as not to agonize too much on the wait. I do appreciate the info. it helps a bit.
  12. Ok, Thank you. it looks like I got 4 months to go. I was hoping to get it before January and be able to travel back home again in January but I might wait and not travel on Combo card again
  13. I am sorry Actually they did not ask me to send in the medical, it was just a Deficiency notice, saying , the looked through the file and it's missing I-693 and don't send anything in yet until you get a letter or be asked to bring it to the interview. I am really hoping to get something, it's been couple months since the Deficiency notice and there hasn't been any RFE or interview yet, online update just show's file was transferred as of September er 14.
  14. Thank you Dear. I will contact them this week, Hopefully that will speed things up a little bit. Looking forward to hear something. The waiting is tough.
  15. Hello Family, I hope every one is doing well. I had quick question and the wait is been agonizingly painful, even if being so close. I had filled Vawa in May 2019, which was approved this is May 2022 and then my I-485 ( filled in November 2019 ) was transferred to NBC on September 16 2022, and then I received a deficiency notice for I-485, it was for medical deficiency notice on October 5th 2022. I have been waiting since to get any letter either a RFE or Interview notice. Can you tell me how long it might take? or when should I expect to hear anything.? should I contact my Senator to inquire if the case moved to Local Office, which will be in Houston Texas. any suggestion will really help the anxiety of waiting. Thank you in advance.
