What did it said exactly on the denial of I-765 ? Is it something about “ we closed the case / got other benefit “ I was wondering if they closed it because u are going to get the GC
Yes, it said "Petitioner received status or benefit through other means". I am impressed with how long it took. I didn't receive a single RFE and got verbally approved within 3 months of filing. Yet somehow, people filing much later than us have green card in hand. Feeling pretty bitter about the experience.

Hey all. We filed on Feb 11th and got verbal approval from the immigration officer. Told us early May 2022 we'd receive it in 2-4 weeks. We still haven't received it and got a notification today of denial for employment authorization. Hopefully that means someone found time to put our cards in the mail?

It's been about 16 weeks since we did our interview. The interviewing officer said we were approved and would receive our green card and ssn within 4-6 weeks. The status hasn't changed online and and support team said they can't help us til 2024. Is there anything we can do to check in on the status?

Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding translations for our K1 Visa. IN my particular situation, we must get a translation for my Fiancees birth certificate for our interview. However, there is a lot of conflicting information (some of which is out of date). Some are saying that we may do the translation ourselves if we're fluent enough, and some are saying that it must be someone that you are not related to. We're concerned on whether or not we have to pay out of pocket for this as after contacting 9 different translation agencies in the UK, only one has responded since Friday. Hes asking for 120$ for a translation and that honestly ridiculous for 2 pages. I have seen that previous users have used REV to translate their documents but our concern is that since it'll just be emailed to us, it wont be notarized or anything. I'd great appreciate this community's input, as you all have been very helpful in making sure that i never had to receive an RFE and was able to due it solely by researching topics on this website.

Update: They lost our birth certificate and marriage license and we got an RFE. Been over a year since EAD denial. Still no greencard.
